we are currently runn through the halls shouting and laughing our asses off. by we i mean my best friends ron hermione and harry, harry wasnt just my best friend tho, i was in love with him. he ovbiously would never like me back. tomorrow was the yule ball and no one had asked me. harry was going with cho which broke my heart, ron was going with one of the twins i forgot their names. hermione was going with victor who gave me dushbag vibes but whatever.

no one had asked me to the yule ball. i was going by myself i guess. hermione walked into te girls dorm. "im so excited for the ball, my dress just came!" she said excitedly. "yay" i said unenthusiasticlly. "im sorry, we have to find you a date y/n" she said holding my hands. "no one would go with me" i said statiing the facts. "cedric would" she said wiggling her eyebrows at me. "but i dont like cedric i like harry" i said, hermione knew about my crush.

"so you could go with cedric and make harry jelous" she said winking. "your right!" i said. running out to go find cedric. i saw him laughing with his friend group "hey cedric can we talk" i said excitedly. he chuckled and nodded. "whatsup" "so i was wodering that if you didnt have a date already would you go to the yule ball with me?" i said hoping he woud say yes. "sure!" he said smiling. "great see you at 7!" i said running away.

-time skip to the night of the ball-

i came out of the bathroom to show hermione my dress and hair and make up.                                      -what your wearing-

hermiones jaw dropped so fast i chuckled. "that bad?" i said sarcasticaly. "you look amazing!" she screaming jumping up and down. i laughed "no you!" we all walked to the big doors leading to the ball. "ready?" hermione asked looking at me. "as ill ever be" i said smiling. the doors opened and it was like slow motion, slow music was playing and everyone went silent and looked at us, i looked for harry and saw him jaw dropped.

hermionr mustve noticed too cuase she whispered "told you" i smiled and walked down the stairs where cedric was waiting at the bottom. "you look gorgeus" he said grabbing my hand and twirling me around. "you dont look to bad yourself" i said giggling. we went to go get drinks and harry tapped my shoulder. i blushed and he said "you look beautful y/n" i looked down blushing redder. 

"thx potter" i said smiling. cedric lead me toward the dance floor and we started slow dancing. this isnt who i want to be doing this with tho, i want to be holding harry. "im so sorry cedric but i have to go find someone" he nodded understanding. i ran off to find potter. he was sitting at a table with ron. i grabbed hermione knowing she likes ron. "care to dance with us boys?" i said smiling. "of course" they said in unison, we all laughed and went to the dance floor to bust down. the high beat song slowed down to a slower song. 

i rested my arms around harrys neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. chills ran up my spine from his touch. i rested my head on his shoulder "you really do look beautiful tonight y/n" he whispered in my ear making me blush. "you look beautiful everyday sorry" he said laughing. i just smiled. "i really like you harry" i said as we swayed back and forth. "i like you too" he replied smiling. i pulled away slowly until our lips were less then an inch apart. 

he pushed his lips onto mine and the sparks ignited, it was like a firework show was happening around us. i pulled away and the world came back. "i love you y/n, i did since the day i met you" he said resting his forehead on mine. "so why didnt you ask me to the ball?" i asked confused. " i was scared you would say no" he said tightening his grip as if he loosened up he would loose me.

"i wouldve said yes" i said kissing his cheek. "good to know" he said kissing me once again.
