¨y/n you have to tell us who you fancy!¨ Luna shouted excitedly trying to get me to spill. ¨no! you guys will tell him!¨ i laughed not budging. i knew my best friends, they couldn't hold secrets. ¨well then at least tell us more about him!¨ hermione begged making us all giggle. ¨ugh fine well..... now i know what they mean, he's a love machine! Oh he makes me dizzy!¨ we all giggled excited i had finally found someone i liked.
ive never been one for crushes so this was excited for me and my best friends. ¨omg! we have to know y/n! plzzzzzzzzzz¨ hermione begged on her knees. it was to hard to say no, i gave in. ¨ugh fine!¨ i finally yelled over their begging. they all squealed with excitement jumping up and down. i giggled and cleared my throat getting their attention.
¨hes a part of the.... weasley family¨ i said quickly covering my face. hermiones face sadden, i knew of her crush on Ron. ¨no! its not Ron dont worry hermione¨ i laughed as hermione sighed of relief. ¨the twins!?¨Luna screamed with a wide grin. i nodded blushing a deep red causing the girls to laugh and cheer. ¨which one!?¨ Luna added settling down. ¨George¨ i said smiling just thinking about him.
¨omg! yay!¨ they said in unison making us all burst out in a fit of laughter. i nodded laughing again at their childishness. ¨when are you gonna tell him?!¨ hermione asked giving me a very focused looking making me chuckle. ¨never, there's zero chance that he would like me back¨ i laughed at the thought. ¨dont say that! hey, ive caught him staring a few times¨ Luna said in her dreamy voice. ¨yea right, he was probably looking at some one else, prettier¨ i said sadly.
Luna and hermione looked at each other nodding. ¨wait what are you guys doing? i know that look¨ i said cautiously. they got up running out of the common room leaving me in shock. ¨guys! where on earth are you going?¨ i yelled not getting a response as they had already left.
hermiones pov-
we had a plan, y/n was gonna be with George. she rarely fancy's anyone so this one must be special. ¨you find George ill get the supplies¨ Luna said running off to the hogsmeade entry. i nodded heading down the stairs to where i was guessing they'd be hanging out. i ran into the great hall and sure enough they were tossing around fireworks. classic weasley twins. ¨George! George, this is very important. do you fancy y/n?¨ i rambled bent over to catch my breath.
¨whats going on?¨ he asked oblivious to what i had said. ¨do you like y/n?!¨ i shouted louder this time earning a few stares. ¨umm¨ he was obviously uncomfortable so i pulled him out into the hall away from his brother and the students surrounding the. ¨well?¨ i was losing my patients with him by this point. ¨yes! yes, i fancy y/n¨ he finally admitted making me sigh of relief. ¨good, she fancy's you too¨ i covered my mouth quickly regretting what i let slip.
¨wait really?! she does?¨ he asked a smile and glimmer of hope in his eyes. i nodded dragging him to where we were planning on meeting up with Luna. i saw her walking towards us so i dragged George till we were right by Luna. ¨got the stuff?¨ i asked out of breath again. i need to exercise more Jesus. she nodded leading us to the common room.
we opened it and y/n sat where she was before we left.
y/n pov-
i heard the door open so i stood up quickly hoping it was hermione and Luna and that they weren't up to anything. i was wrong, there standing with hermione was George. you've got to be kidding me. ¨hermione, Luna, what the hell are you doing¨ i said through gritted teeth. ¨George wanted to say something¨ Luna said looking worried that George would back out of it. ¨i- i um i¨ George stammered.
he looked so cute all flustered and nervous. ¨spit it out¨ hermione said nudging his side. ¨i like you¨ George spat out looking anywhere but me. ¨oh, i like you too¨ i smiled walking over to the blushing boy. once i was only inches from his face i leaned in and our lips met. it felt like hermione and Luna had disappeared. it was just me and George in that moment as our lips moved in perfect rhythm.
i pulled away for air smiling like a dummy. ¨*cough cough* we're still here¨ hermione said awkwardly. ¨right¨ i said laughing a bit. i muttered a sorry stepping away from George. i hugged hermione and Luna whispering a thank you each time.
as much as they annoy me they always end up helping me. i love them for it.
