in dream....

"no please ill do anything dont hurt him!" i screamed at the masked man holding my best friend by his blonde hair. "look Draco looks like you little friend over here is very fond of you. you or her, whos gonna die?" he asked Draco. his voice sounded so familiar but i couldn't figure it out. "please hurt me not him" i begged feeling the tears laced on my cheeks.

"me" i heard Draco mutter looking at the floor. i saw the man chuckle before taking his mask off to reveal my father, the man who had killed my mother and my brother. everyone i cared about, he destroyed. "NOOOOO!!!!" i screamed getting silenced by the gunshot.

End of dream

I sat up breathing heavily, another one. i could feel my face was wet from tears. i go up putting on my slippers and exiting the gryffindor common room and into the hall. i had to see Draco, i had to make sure he was OK. he was the only one i had. i made my way to the slytherin common room letting myself in as quiet as possible. luckily for me Draco had his own bedroom due to him being a prefect. i sniffled and calmed myself down before knocking lightly a few times on his door.

"y/n what a-" i cut him off by quickly wrapping him in a hug. "i had another one" i sobbed into the crook of his neck, he already knew what i was talking about. "hey shh im right here, im safe" he said reassuringly as he wrapped his arms around my waist rubbing circles on my back. "i cant loose you, your all i have" i whispered slowly stopping the tears that were just pouring. it was silent, im guessing he was trying to figure out what to say.

instead of saying anything he just hugged me tighter i could feel his chin rest on top of my head. he was a lot taller then me. (say hes 6' in this) after a few more minutes of peaceful minutes he pulled away and cupped my cheeks making my heart beat faster. "im not going anywhere ok? your my best friend n/n" he said calmly. that stung a bit, i had developed feelings for Draco. thats why i always check on him, i know how his father treats him. he needs someone there for him and i was that person.

"you ok?" he asked concern in his eyes. "yea" i said taking a few steps back before i teared up again. "im gonna head back to my dorm before i get caught" i said turning and opening the dorm door. the walk back was silent, i spent the time thinking about what Draco said. "your my best friend n/n" all i wanted was to be more then that.

it was the next day and i had 0 motivation to get out of bed but i had to if i wanted to eat breakfast before class. so i groaned standing and stretching feeling a few cracks. i put on my vest and robe and headed down to the great hall. during breakfast you could sit with who ever you wanted, usually i always sat with Draco event thought his friends hated me he didn't let them talk shit. but after last night and basically being friend zoned by the love of my life, sitting with him didn't sound so appealing.

so i walked past his table keeping my head down till i saw the familiar blonde hair. Luna. i put on the most real looking smile i could muster and sat next to her hoping she wouldn't kick me to the curb. "hi Luna, mind if i sit with you?" i asked praying she would say yes. "of course y/n! anytime!" she said in her dreamy sounding voice. i smiled thanking her as i looked at my potions books studying for today's test.

the realization hit me. i have to sit with Draco in all my classes. "shit" i muttered under my breath but catching Luna's attention. "everything ok y/n?" she asked sounding like my mother. "ugh yea i think im gonna head to potions" i smiled grabbing my bags and heading out of the great hall.

i was the first one there considering there was still 10 minutes of breakfast so i still had some study time. that was until the one person i didn't want to see walked in plopping himself down next to me. "hey n/n" he said sounding rather chipper while ruffling my hair. i patted down the frizzy hair muttering a hi before going back to my book. "ok i know when my best friend is sad, whats wrong?" he asked fully turning towards me. it stung again to hear the words best friend leave his mouth. "hey..." he said calmly putting his hand on my shoulder.

"im fine" i managed to say without my voice breaking. "if you insist" he said with a chuckle turning back towards the front. he thought this was funny?! no thank you. i grabbed my book angrily slamming it shut and storming out of the class but being stopped by snape. "sit down y/n" he said using my first name which only made me madder. "kiss my ass Severus" i said pushing past him and out of the class.

i just needed to blow off some steam. i walked down to hagrids hut hoping he was free to talk. "hagrid you in there!?" i yelled knocking on the door. the giant man opened the door with his usual warm smile. "hey y/n! whatcha you doing here kid?" he asked seeing my angered state. "boy drama?" he asked crossing his arms smiling. i nodded walking into his house and plopping on the sofa. "i told snape to kiss my ass" i said bluntly seeing hagrid laugh.

"so tell me about this boy" he said sitting in front of me. hagrid was like my father, a better father. i explained everything that had happened. hagrid sat quietly taking it all in. "yep" i responded to his silence. my face turned from stress to confusion when i heard hagrids deep chest laugh. "how is this funny?" i asked getting slightly mad again. om yes i might have some anger issues shut up. "oh teen love, tell Draco how you feel. trust me" he said still laughing a bit. "your no help" i sighed exiting the cozy hut.

i walked through the crowded halls focusing on what hagrid said. do i tell him? no, he'll reject me. they always do. i was shook out of my thoughts by an arm dragging me somewhere. i soon found my self in the janitors closet with just the overhead light as the source. "Draco?" i asked confused on why he dragged me into a janitors closet. "y/n your not leaving till you tell me whats going on with you" he said sternly crossing his arms. i sighed sitting on the small bench they had in there. "nothing just stressed" i technically wasn't lying. "i dont buy it" he said trying to see any hints of lies in my face. he had obviously found some.

"i- i cant tell you drac" i said using his nickname to maybe convince him. "please your never like this" he said kneeing at my level to look me in the eyes. i looked up scanning his face. he was so handsome, i couldn't stop myself. i cupped his face leaning in and meeting his lips. within seconds i pulled away standing up. "i- im so sorry i should go please just forget about this" i said fiddling with the door knob. i stopped immediately when a hand covered mine. i felt an arm pull my waist to face him, his lips met mine making me gasp in shock.

he pulled away slowly keeping his forehead on mine. "i dont want to forget" he whispered kissing me again.

i smiled stuttering before leaving the closet.

"HE"S MINE!!" i screamed soon realizing i was surrounded by people. i heard a throat being cleared and slowly turned around. he had seen that. i laughed nervously and ran down the hall basically skipping.

"hes mine" i squealed to myself.
