𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐞𝐥'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕Thursday Morning
I drove over to the hotel, Sarah has been staying at. I felt so bad for her, knowing that she came to Miami for us but our dad just had to ruin it. I tried talking with him but he wouldn't listen, the only person who would listen to me was my mother. Our mom was always the understanding person in our family not him. I just wish our father would come to his senses and realize that Sarah is grown, she can date whoever she wants. Besides, Matthew sounds like a good man for her, and I would love to meet him one day.
Once I made it to the hotel, I walked inside the lobby and told the receptionist hello before going inside the elevator. When I made it to the floor, I walked down the halls until I was in front of Sarah's room door.
"Sarah, it's me." I knocked on the door twice but I didn't hear anything then I remembered that I have an extra key for himself, just in case she loses it.
"Hello," I opened the door and walked inside the living room, putting the key down on the kitchen counter.
I ran into her room but she wasn't there then I looked into the bathroom, still no sign of Sarah. My mind started to go crazy but I had to remember, Sarah is a grown woman. So, everything should be alright, I am sure she just left to go somewhere real quick. As I was about to leave her bedroom, I saw her phone on the bed.
A grown woman who would leave her phone behind on the bed. I grabbed Sarah's phone and turned it on to see 60 missed calls from Matthew. I put in her password and called Matthew.
Maybe he knows where she is.
"Sarah!" Matthew says excitedly.
"No, this is Samuel."

𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕This was my safe place, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉.
I watched the waves go back and forth with a smile on my face. I realized that nothing existed at this moment, it was just me and the beach. It's like the world was revolving around me and I was just a small human being experiencing all of this at once. The warmth that I lost days ago was finally here with me and my peace was taking control of the time.
The only person I want here with me right now is Matthew.
"Hey, beautiful." Someone says with an Australian accent from behind me.
