Controlled Movements
Unknown
The woman growled angrily as she watches the two children that are being dragged out of the room. Those insufferable children flat out refused to say one word to her, even when she threatened them.
She takes a deep breath and calms down, opening the door to the balcony as someone knocks. "Yes?"
"Our guests have arrived, M'Lady." Her pesky servant said. The woman's mouth stretches into a thin, cruel smile.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Guests should be treated properly."
--------
"Are you sure this is the place?" Ron asks, as the trio looks up at the giant marble mansion they stood in front of.
Hermione glances down at the paper in her hands, frowning. "Yes, Ronald. This is the exact location. Honestly, what is so wrong with a mansion?"
"Well," Harry interrupts, "I don't think a criminal would live in an luxurious mansion, do you?"
Hermione sighs, annoyed. "Perhaps. Should we go-"
She's interrupted as the giant wooden doors open up, revealing a stone faced man.
"What business do you have here?" He asks in gritty voice. The Trio glanced at each other, each thinking the same thing.
"Now now, Malachi, is that any way to treat our guests?"
The Trio's eyes dart to the figure approaching behind the man, Malachi apparently. The figure showed himself, or more of like herself.
The woman was gorgeous. She had long black hair braided down to her lower back, and with her pretty hazel eyes, she looked quite fierce. She wore regular black robes, with a small hint of light blue specks shimmering as she walked. She walked with a sort of fake grace, like she was trying to be graceful, but someone was controlling her movements, though she definitely seemed to have a mind of her own.
She halted to a stop in front of the group, smiling down at them. "Follow me," she said, "let us talk about how to free your friends."
Harry found himself swaying to the voice, even if it didn't seem to fit her. It was calming, but a strange sense of urgency was laced in along with annoyance. But Harry didn't pay attention to it very much, he was too busy following her to safety.
--------
Percy couldn't believe what Ginny just told him. Harry, could you believe this, went on an adventure to find Luna and Neville. Alone. Well, with Ron and Hermione, but still, and he only told Ginny!
Ginny was almost attacked, too! Luckily, Percy was near her to fend off the attacker, but he vanished before Percy could interrogate him, which was annoying, but Ginny knew everything, so it was fine.
So, that's how Percy found himself, and Thalia and Nico, obviously, running towards a large house.
Please, he prayed to every god and goddess he could think of, just let us make it on time.
--------
Harry had no idea how he got in the basement. He just remembered following the pretty lady with the soothing voice, but he some how couldn't remember why or where they went.
"Have a seat, dear," the woman said, her voice dripping with kindness. "Make yourselves at home."
Harry looked towards Ron, who had a dreamy look on his face, and then to Hermione, who looked less than pleased that her boyfriend seemed to like the stranger in front of them more than her.
"Now, tell me everything about your teachers, then perhaps, we can make a plan to save your....friends." Harry didn't noticed the smirk on her face, or the sort of evil glint in her eye as he begin telling her everything.
The strange thing? He remembered every detail. Even the style of their robes on the first day, and the weather. But Harry thought nothing of it, and simply brushed it off. Probably just some magic at work. ;)
When he was just about to finish, getting to the part of the Hellhounds, the door behind them burst open, revealing Luna and Neville, both bruised.
"Harry!" They yelled, and immediately pulled the three out of their chairs, and the trance he and Ron were in suddenly disappeared, and Harry got out his wand, along with everyone else.
The woman, who he believed told up them that her name was Cecil, put out her arms, a peaceful gesture. "Put your wands away, children, I mean you no harm."
Harry, to his surprise, realized his hand was lowering, and held it back up firmly. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Ron do the same, but only when Hermione smacked him on the back of his head.
Hermione glares at Cecil. "You were the one who kidnapped Luna and Neville. You sent those creatures after us. You planned all of this!"
Cecil sighed as she watched the group. "Oh well, I suppose you caught me. But, dear child, I did not kidnap your friends, no that was all Malachi. But I did send the Hellhounds after you. I guess you've figured the rest out, too."
Hermione's falters. "What?"
Cecil looks surprised, but maybe she just was good at faking her expressions. "Oh, my dear, you haven't figured it out yet" The look on Hermione's face must've given it away, as Cecil laughs. "The demigods are smarter than I realized, I'll give them that."
"Demigods?" Harry and Ron ask, but Hermione's mind was racing, putting two and two together.
"Demigods," she begins, "are from Greek mythology. They're half god and half mortal."
"Okay...?"
"What does that mean?"
"It means," Hermione says, annoyed that she hadn't thought of this earlier, and surprised that she might be right, but also scared that she might be right, "that Greek myths, aren't myths. They're real."
Cecil applauds. "Good job, dear. You figured it out!"
Harry and Ron were still confused. "How?"
"Well," Hermione says, her mind working on overtime, "the Hellhounds are from Greek mythology, and we saw they existed. Cecil, that's your name, right? Thought so. She said something about demigods, which are also from Greek mythology. But the question is who are the demigods....."
She trails off, her eyes widening. Cecil smiles mockingly. "By the immortal gods, I think she's got it!"
"Thalia, Percy, and Nico are demigods," Hermione says, the boys start to interrupt, but Hermione continues. "Which means..."
She points to Cecil, who's smirking. "She's a demigod. A child of Hecate, by the looks of it."
"Yes, well, also a legacy of Aphrodite, but-"
Before she could say anything more, the door bangs open yet again, to reveal our favorite demigods.
"Well, that clears it up. Thanks Hermione." Percy says, grinning.
Chapter after this is the end!
