"She was drawn to him. The way his eyes danced with her in the darkness. Like two shooting stars on the same path in the night sky. It was as almost if they were meant to be. If she believed in real love, this would be it. A poem by Jessica Michelle." Grace said.
I removed my gaze from Instagram, "sweetie you need to calm down. You have been reciting poetry for the last twenty minutes. I'm getting worried for you, do you need to see a doctor?"
Grace helped me unpack my and set up my part of the dorm. The moment John saw her he ran out of the room, we shrugged and started to work. She also has a lot of fake plants.
I sighed "Grace calm down."
"And into the forest I go, to loose my mind and find my soul. By John Muir."
"Grace.
"You have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from the day on. By Jane Austin."
I put my phone on the chair and sat next to Grace. "Grace you can't just recite poetry and expect me to know what's going on, please explain."
She sighed "I'm really stressed and when I'm stressed I recite poetry I saw on Pinterest!"
"How do you remember all that?" I asked.
She shrugged. "Good memory I guess, I don't know!"
"Wait why are you stressed?"
She looked at me like I was an idiot. "How could you not be stressed it's the first day of school tomorrow! I have to have a good outfit! Well actually we have uniforms for that." She mumbled the last part. "But I have to make my hair look good! Should I have it be natural waves or strait? Should I tuck my shirt in or leave it loose?" She grabbed my shoulders, "there is so much to stress about!"
I slowly removed her hands from my shoulders. "Grace calm down. Leave your hair natural tomorrow, tuck your shirt in. Wear the fancy shoes, and have a cute watch."
She looked at me "your a life savor!" She smiled and happily skipped to her room. "Also goodnight!" She said and blew me a kiss.
She sweet. But very touchy, I don't do touchy.
I sighed stood up and walked over to the chair were my phone was. I grabbed it and texted my parents a goodnight. Before heading to my room.
I opened my door and looked at my new room. It was different, back home it was just a bed, desk and closet. Here I have a queen sized bed, a very fancy desk, desk chair, a bookcase, vanity, closet, a comfy chair just to sit on for fun, and a huge rug.
I like it, but I prefer the simpler things.
I went to my closet and put he uniform on my desk, I already had my shoes ready to go. The uniform was like every other uniform, a green skirt with a white button up shirt. And a tie which was not optional. From what I heard the boys uniform was ugly. And I'm kinda excited to see if that's true.
I slipped into my pajamas and got into bed. I turned off my lamp for the last time today. Getting myself comfortable for the new day ahead. I started to drift of into a nice sleep.
Suddenly the dorm next us was slammed there door closed having my room shake a little bit. I wanted to yell at that person, but it's none of my business. I sighed and finally started to slip into a peaceful sleep.
