I scrolled on Instagram while bringing the tart beer to my lips. I smiled when liking a friends post. The music blasting causing me a small headache who ever is in charge of the music should tune it down.

I check the time and saw it was 10 the girls said hey wanted to leave at 11:30 before they ran off to their boyfriends, well Harper did. Grace stayed with me for a while and she introduced me to some of the upper class man. She was then dragged off by Jake, to only god knows were.

I turned off my phone and leaned against the bar looking around the house. Who ever lives here has money no question about it. This place is huge, the living room is six times the size of my room back home. And I have a decent sized room.

I cringed when I saw two people bumped into me very busy with a heated kiss. I pushed them away from me and told them to get a room. The girl looked happy with that idea and dragged the boy upstairs. I almost brought up my lunch.

I brought the red solo cup back to my lips and took a good amount of it. The alcohol burning my throat just a little. I leaned against the counter top while running my hand through my hair. Wishing I didn't taste the beer- it was horrible. I prefer stronger stuff, and that was pathetic and weak. How do people get drunk off of this crap?

I placed the cup down no longer feeling the alcohol tonight, and hummed against the music. Call me boring, but there is nothing to do here. Everyone is just dancing, I was expecting some beer pong or something like that. I am very dissatisfied.

I heard some name calling but it was muffled by the music. I shrugged and kept people watching. A hand on my shoulder got me out of my boredom.

"Hey Emma!"

"Hey Hunter how are you?" I asked over the loud music.

Hunter was in my favorite class so far, math. He's tall, muscular, and basically everyone's dream guy. To me he's the guys that helps me in math because I can't do anything.

He said something which I couldn't hear. So I grabbed his wrist and brought him out side to the pool. It was less crowded and way easier to talk with out yelling. I let go of his wrist.

"Sorry I didn't hear you over the music. What's up?"

He laughed, "I was Justin's wondering how you got into this party, I thought you didn't know Antonio."

I gave him a look. "Who's that? I came with Harper and Grace."

He gave me a shocked expression. "You know like the really buff senior dude, who like everyone is afraid of?"

I shrugged my shoulders "Nope."

"Oh well that's cool. Anyways you look super bored, is the party not good enough for you?" He asked.

"No it's fine, but all you guys do is drink, dance, then go to a spare room. And that's boring! I need some action, like a fight or something! Add a little spice."

He burst out laughing. "Never say spice again."

I laughed with him "I can't make any promises."

We stopped laughing and I started to gaze off into the trees in the distance. They look nice, like tall and green. Like the guy from the Lorax, my brother likes that movie. I mean likes it's okay, I like the grandma and the short dude. And the main love interest does give off big lesbian vibes.

My thoughts were cut of by laughing I looked at Hunter and raised my eye brow.

He paused between laughs, "you said all of that out loud."

I grumbled under my breath but he didn't hear obviously to busy laughing at me. Once he was done a girl whispered in his ear and his eyes widened, he apologized to me that he had to go and fix something.

The girl looked at me and gave me a look. "Are you flirting with my brother? I don't like people flirting with him then ignoring him. Happens a lot actually and it's kinda pathetic."

I shook my head. "I don't think we were flirting? Like it was more of him laughing at me if that makes any sense."

She shrugged and walked off. That was the strangest thing ever, I checked my phone and saw the time was 11:15 I sighed and went back to the house.

I sighed dragging two drunk out of their minds girls behind me. I told them they can get drunk but I didn't think they would get this drunk. The hang over is going to be a bitch.

I dragged my two friends to Harpers car and buckled them in. I was about to start the car but someone locked on the window I rolled it down and caught the urge to roll my eyes.

"Yes?" I asked in a way to nice of a voice.

"Look I know we don't like each other but your the only person who is leaving and I don't feel walking fifteen miles to get back to the school."

I sighed and unlocked the door. "Your lucky I'm a nice person."

He gave me a quick nod and put his friend in the back. He made sure he won't fall into my drunk friends and got into the passenger seat. He closed the door and I started the engine.

The awkward silence was clearly there and I turned on the radio but it just made it way worse. I looked at him and he did the same to me and we both quickly shifted our gazes.

I looked at the GPS seeing we only have 6 minutes until we reach the school. I sighed in relief. I felt his gaze on me, and a weird feeling went through my body.

"Stop starring at me. It's weird Aaron."

He coughed "I wasn't starring at you. You aren't worthy to be stared at."

"Well that's mean, and I'm giving you a ride. I think you should give me a little more respect."

"Respect? You didn't give me any respect when you spilled your coffee on me."

"Well I said I would but you a new shirt." I said while moving my hair way away from my face.

"Don't do that. It gives me a weird feeling, and I don't like it." He said in a disgusted tone.

I swore under my breath at him and we got to the parking lot. We went our separate ways, both of us with at least one drunk person.
