And on down the gravel path we walked,
and many things we encountered!
We gossiped about the strange passersby that traveled along the road.
We came across a pond and skipped stones that we found among the gravel stone rocks.
We even met a puppy that licked slimy saliva all over my arms.
Further down the road, came the dark of night. We sat on the cool surface of large rocks that surrounded the pond and talked of many things.
She told me about the arrangement of stars and the theories she had on the proceedings of men. She guided me through the many types of sounds that the night brought to the pond.
A lot of fun was shared between us, and I cannot quite remember, but she may have smiled a great many times. It's just that I did not notice at all.
