Monique stood a distance off she cringe when she saw Shelly look her way, it was something about her she didn't like, to think of it she has nothing about her she likes, she wasn't expecting to come home and find them here,
She wanted to went by and said nothing but on seeing them looking she waved took a turn going off to her bedroom,
Lloyd got up and went after her,
"Mark and shelly will be here for the weekend"
"Why couldn't they stay somewhere else?" She asked
"You asked that, such a question?"
"What's wrong with the question I asked?"
I'm sure if he wanted somewhere else he wouldn't be here"
"He wanted somewhere else but only that his cheep ass didn't want to pay for it, and now I have to endure him and his Cunning little bitch, that sidechick"
Shelly mouth open wide"ah! She didn't"
Mark calm shelly didn't want it to look as though they were ease dropping,
"Will you stop that, Mark and shelly are our friends, mark is  my best friend if he needs a place because its free I have no problem with that"
"Lucky me I won't be caught in either of you way, for tomorrow I'm going out"
Fine then" he turn to walk out,
You might hath brought the house with your money but I pay mortgage too" she said, "And why the hell didn't I learn before they were coming?" she asked
"What would you do?" Lloyd asked her
"I would make sure he didn't took his little side chick here"
"She said it again
Shelly said mark hug her,
"I'm not some boy you tell what to Do" lloyd said,
"Well you damn well ain't a man either" she said
Lloyd walk away for her didn't want them to hear her being rude he wasn't expecting them to hear with the television on her came out but said nothing he sat a while "you're down the hall on you right everything you need is there" he told them,
"I should definitely take a shower" shelly said getting up mark sat some more with Lloyd to talk Lloyd told him about the date but didn't tell him with whom they would be join, he was feeling bad for Monique's attitude and to be talking like that about his friends, mark finally got up and part ways with Lloyd remain on the sofa and was up early he knew that Monique wouldn't have prepare breakfast for them so he went to the breakfast inn for some he got fry dumplings with steam veggies and saltfish with coco tea, he came to find his wife in the kitchen she fix something just for herself going back to the bed room, he set the table and mark and Shelly soon to came and came to the living room he push his head to say he got breakfast they didn't bother to take any seat just to go to the kitchen,
They ate together while Monique sat in her room going through the papers she's to present in court, she was knowing for the first time it was drugs and guns they found the man with, and for him not to get any gail time Monique will have to argue with good reasoning ability it felt almost like when she was in court defending Laurence only she wasn't handed a pile of papers just told a few words to say, she was going to have to play it right for more than one reason for if the money was coming so sweet now she could only imagine when the case is over, besides she can't afford to make another mess for the renovation was bad enough, anf to think laurence had to pay back the money ro the man who gave his case to someone else,
in the afternoon she came out her room to look something to eat she went back in and try calling Laurence but got no answer, she give up went out back hoping for a swim, lloyd was sitting out by the pool with shelly and mark, shelly turn when they heard footsteps, on seeing them there she turn to go back in,
"Monique" mark said "so good of you to join us"
Shelly look at him,
"I'm not here to join anyone I was here for I think I could have a quiet time by myself" she walked away without looking back both mark and shelly look at Lloyd,
They were still there half hour later when they heard her going out her car was leaving the drive way, Lloyd wasn't expecting her to behave so rudely he didn't even know she has a problem with shelly,
"So don't we do nothing tonight?" Shelly ask "I meant if we won't go out, it is a while I haven't come to rockdale in a while I can't stay, stay inside"
"We'll go out later" Lloyd informed her
"We will" she said with a smile
"Yes I might as well get up to find something to wear"
Lloyd got off the sofa and went into the bed room,
"So we'll go out after all I hope she won't come"
"Let's not start" mark said
Shelly growl remembering her remarks the night before and could just beat her down for it,
Laurence wasn't home and it was obvious he wasn't in town for no one knew where he was he left with just the two men who pose as his body guard, she didn't have no where to go now for hanging out at the spa by herself was no fun and her girls were busy they were all engaged in family matters, she didn't want to go back to her husband and his friends, and she skip the thought of going to her parents, she came through the door just as her husband came from the bedroom, she noticed he was wearing one of the new suit,
one of those his mother send him the other day after the incident with the machine she thought he would have told her she didn't wash for him but instead he said chemicals ruined them, he still wore them to work Inspite of their condition they were in, she saw mark and shelly come from down the hall both dress as if they all were going out, it was something they use to do together when ever mark was in Atlanta only now she didn't care to anymore for she despise Shelly so much,, it was since day one she hated her but she was just showing it, but to think Lloyd could be wearing his best suit it must be a special occasion,
She left and went to her room not waiting to hear one of them speak its good they're leaving she'll get to not have them around for some time, she close the door to her room and listen for them to leave before coming back out,
Aliya got dress in a tall skimpy red dress thinking it to be her final decision,
"What you think?"
She asked as she try it on and send a selfie to nelisa
It was rear nelisa saw her friend in dresses like that she would even go out in jym suit and didn't care,
"That's a lovely dress it seems you're going all out for this dude" she text a smiley face
"I told you I like him" she said sending a smiley face too, "and remember that he's bringing a friend"
"I remember, see you later" nelisa said
aliyah put the phone away check in the mirror once more
she wore pink slippers to match her fashion jewelry and purse hopefully it was suitable enough, she was putting on her lip balm when the text came lloyd had text to let her know he's down stairs
"I'm on my way down" she didn't want to keep him for she remembered he wasn't alone,
He was by the van when she came walking across,
his eyes widen to the sight of her swagging hips as the dress hug her the way it was her need not ask if she was naked beneath the only way she could be in panties it must be invisible,
She place a soft kiss on his cheek smiling at him it kills him every time,
"Nice!" She said "I like it" she said fixing his shirt collar rubbing her fingers across his lips,
He held the front door open and once she climb in and sat down She acknowledge the two people on the back seat, mark came to notice it was the girl from the out door dining and wonder why lloyd Didn't tell him, she turn and smile at them "hey mark" she said making him grin,
"It's allie right?"
"Aliyah" she reminded him, mark nods, Hey" she said to the woman next to him she smile and wave
"Meet Shelly" lloyd said
Aliyah smile once more, "hey" she greets her again,
"So where are we heading?"
"Ah, we are meeting at sivania dinner, I think its in rock dale"
"So you fix a dinner date and don't know where we're going?" Lloyd said as he started the van,
"I bet you will find it so I have no worries" she said smiling at him,
"You said you needed a date not a shofar" he tease,
Aliyah turn and smile at him push him with a finger, he too smile at her, he never thought he would be come so intrested in her but here he was showing more intrested than he expected to,
The conversation between them was limited mile and personal sometime it was between lloyd and aliyah then mark started talking to him then it was between them and shelly now and then aliyah added a few words based on what was said
They got to sivania nelisa and odane were waiting at the entrance,
She and Aliyah brace each other, aliyah greet odane and nelisa greet Lloyd who has a look of surprise on his face, when she said her friend he wasn't expecting the counselor she smiled warmly he was expecting her to say "don't i know you, aren't you that guy that came in my office trying to fix your marriage,
"You remember him don't you?" Aliyah ask
Nelisa nod embrace him with a smile, lloyd   turn and introduce she and the gut  both to shelly and mark they shook hand exchange smile
"Well this is nice"
Aliyah said on looking around, so are we going to dine on the inside or the outside?"
"I think we'll eat outside" nelisa said "I don't think they'll let you in with out underwear" she said draging the others to her,
"They got a policy?" Aliyah asked
"Nah that was me trying to be funny"
"That was it I should have laughed sorry I didn't notice"
They laugh and nelisa slap her,
"Our table is inside" she said taking odane's hand leading the way mark and shelly followed close behind, aliyah face Lloyd rest her hand on his cheek pulled him down for a quick kiss
the others turn and saw them thinking they'll catch up, they later found them at a table in the window and sat next to each other,
"Aliyah noticed they didn't even order drink and call for the waitress "we'll have your biggest bottle of chivas regal" she said
Every one look at her,
"Ah and make it a extra whiskey"
Anything else?" The girl ask
Aliyah look at the others "any objection?" She asked
"None" nelisa said
"I'm OK with chivas extra whiskey" odane said
"You guys?" She asked turning to Lloyd, mark and Shelly
"No problem here" shelly said
While mark and Lloyd didn't say,
"We'll order later" Aliyah said,
"It seems only rich people come here, you eat here all the time?" Shelly asked
"It is our first time" nelisa said, "we always dine else where"
"I can't believe you live this close to a fine restaurant like this and we haven't come here before"
"Cause when I dated you, you only do out door dining at fast burgur plaza and crappy food" nelisa said,
"It a meal" aliyah said
"You ate burgers a lot?" Shelly asked
"A whole lot" nelisa answer
"How did you manage to stay in shape? I try everything"
"But you're looking well with you like that and boy friend complains it's his business,
"You think I look good ?" Shelly asked grinning, I feel lot better hearing it from you looking how well you fit in that dress I had one similar to it and I had to take it back to the store"
"Really?" Aliyah asked
"Yes really I love it but I just couldn't"
"She's a mother maybe it was for the best" mark said looking at shelly"
"You have a child" Nelisa said
"And she is complaining, I know woman who don't have kids and would give a eye to look half as good as you" aliyah said as she reached to pour wine in her glass, "cheers" she said holding up her glass,
"Cheers" the others said joining glasses together"What are we cheering?" Nelisa ask
"Good times, and good friends" aliyah said,
