Lloyd got through a portion of the day working on Laurence beach house he got a couple of his men out with him and it started out smooth,
Laurence watch from the third floor window he had only greet Lloyd once and decided to stay out the way, he move from the window sat on his bed pull out the draw take out the envelope to look at the picture s of Monique he had changed his mind about sending it I'm the mail not becuse of her he didn't really want any bad blood between them glad now he didn't, he stuck them back there and left the room,
"Ah how about a drink?" Laurence ask as he join Lloyd at the poorhouse
"Nah I'm on the job" lloyd said
He nod and sat down a little away from where he stood instructing one of his men on what to do, Laurence thought he actually knows what he's doing which button to press, he can't help bit to think the guy is cool, afar better man than most men he knew that includes him he could have n look t walk in this guy shoe and to think now he got aliyah, aliyah he was so desperate to have,
The other men went for a break leaving Lloyd and Laurence who got to his feet, he paste the floor behind Lloyd "tell me what it's like in bed with her" Laurence said
Lloyd turn on his words and he was closer than sounds
"who- who are talking about?" He stuttered
"Aliyah I just need a brief description of what making love to her is like"
"Man I don't really, I don't discuss, I don't"
"You don't kiss and tell, but it's been years I've tried and I was so ignored she was ignorant towards me, she's still ignorant towards me, I just want to have an idea of what I won't get to experience"
Lloyd look at him he saw him get in a mode he never say him he for once wanted to think all what was said about him weren't, aren't all true,
"She is the most amazing woman I've known she knows how to get you in the mode and once you've gotten in the mood she groove you"
He was smiling when he look at him,
"Her body is like melted butter you feel the cream on her skin smooth and tender your lips in her is like jello we got in that moment" Laurence took back his seat leaning forward as if didn't want to miss nothing said

"Thank you" he said handing him a envelope "and don't worry the money is clean"

"You don't trust it you can go ahead call it it, I really appreciate this man" he turn and walk away, he was back at the window looking out they went back to work there till five they pack it in he came to see them off, when they left he went out to admire the staging it already look good and it only just begun he knew one this is going to be a job well done it's only a pity he had to pay twice for the same thing he believe he should have gotten his money back but he felt like letting go and leave it at it is,
From the kitchen aliyah could hear Lloyd came in through the door she heard him fumbling around left what she was doing and came to the door, she lean against the jamb of the kitchen door,
"How was it?" Aliyah ask
Lloyd turn to look at her with a smile, "hey, it was good so far"
She came to him sat next to him, he lean in to kiss her, he held on to her lip as his forehead rest on her forehead, he didn't move make aliyah open her eyes, he open his and pull back, "so how was your day?" He ask
"It was good just tell me what happened"
"I work and I'm tired"
"Stop beating around the bush" she said slapping him, he grin,
"Did you finish over there?"
"In another week or two"
"Will it be finished for our road trip?"
"Road trip?"
"Yes we'll take the trip to Nashville after Thanksgiving"
"Oh yeah?, oh yeah it will be finished"
She got up leaving him there he sigh and rub his face stretched out rest his head on the back of the sofa, aliyah came bringing dinner sat with him as he eat,
"He asked about you?" Lloyd said
"I'm not surprised" Aliyah said
"He was interested to know what making love to you was like"
"Bastard"
"You should have seen his face when I told him how precious the moments are"

"Let's say we get a early start on some love"

"Before you do anything be sure it's good"

For the rest of the week it was evolved around work at Laurence trying to finish before Thanksgiving as after Thanksgiving they're heading to Nashville, he was hoping by then the divorce papers will be ready he also need the perfect reason to sign those divorce papers, he haven't gone home since he started working at Laurence he have some things there he wanted to get mostly his dirty laundry hoping to wash them over at aliyah's before going he took a trip to his parents who were both happy to see him "you sisters trying to get to you" his mother said your brother sent his love"
"I appreciate it, hearing from them" Lloyd said
"So how's the pretty one?" Ruth ask
"She's doing ok, she didn't know I was coming by"
"Ah I see" she said as she gave him some whiskey
"I'm hoping that you're going easy on the drinking"
"I am mother "
"That's the sound of a boy taking responsibility" Dave said patting his shoulder, he didn't came to stay long and didn't heading to the house he had just finished packing the things in the laundry bag and came in the living room,
"Are you moving?"
"I'm just taking my laundry" he said going around her,
She turn as his back to her with him heading towards the door, she didn't say nothing much as she would like to know what went on over Laurence he left her with a frown on her face,
"Your girl told my girl you took the job at Laurence" mark said he had call up Lloyd at work, he had barely settled in office as he was just grabbing something to go again he talk with mark as he make his way back to the first floor to mabel to buzz her she talk to him for a short time for he was leaving he got only two days to finish up at Laurence for aliyah was destined to take that road trip and he want to be free for Thanksgiving to think of it he didn't know what they were planning for Thanksgiving he would have to have Thanksgiving with his family and was sure aliyah will be doing the same, mark gill him in on the plan they have his family and shelly's family will come together for dinner, "that's good, I think aliyah and I won't spend Thanksgiving together for she will have Thanksgiving at her family's home"
"Oh I see"
"Yeah" Lloyd said they went silent for a little then they bid goodbye Lloyd thought about it as he drove to Laurence's place and to think Thanksgiving is next week
"Aliyah my child look at you" ruth said David stood beside her with a grin
"Ruth it is good to see you"
"Same here" ruth said

"I'm glad you came"
"Well so am i" she grin at the older couple
Ruth offer her some of the pumpkins bake with vegetables and a fruity flavor wine, she have a blast with it getting a second serving to take alongside and request a serving for Lloyd as well,
"What I really take to do was to ask if you and your family would like to join me and my family for Thanksgiving, we would love it if you all could"
"Actually yes" ruth said looking at David who nod to agree
"I'm looking forward, we're looking forward to having you all there" she gave them an address with the family invite hug them both and left,
Ruth call her family soon as aliyah close the door behind her Jessica already agree pet agree and so did Jason,
Lloyd look up when the envelope came on his desk his lawyerwas standingover him, "divorce papers" he said
Lloyd reach for it open it with a smile "that's kind of fast"
"You said two weeks, it is two weeks"
"Yeah right, thanks, I got to go tomorrow is thanksgiving and I got to finish up my job at mr deer see what my family is doing for Thanksgiving, checking on my girlfriend and divorce my wife"
"Sounds like a whole lot on your plate my brother"
"Yes it is"
"Need help handling it?" The lawyer asked,
"I'll handle it" Lloyd smile he took up his jacket bit him goodbye then left, on his way out he stop by to see mabel as she had came after he did,
"Oh mr Chadwick" mabel said kissing his cheek, "how are you apart from being busy as a bee?"

"why you smiling, that's mostly what i get out of you a smile"
His smile widen make mabel touch his cheek, "I can see why my niece is so crazy about you"
"She is?" He ask
"You can't tell?"
"I can but only intrested to know it it's a trick"
Mabel laugh, "you can bet your life it isn't"
"Aunt I'll see you later" he said walking away Mabel smile,
"I can't thank you enough" Laurence said on coming down to Lloyd, he had just finish off the last piece, "I know I already pay you I'm not bribing or anything but I'm sure you could use this tomorrow is Thanksgiving" he hand him a case of wine containing six and a single bottle for each of his workers he gave them too a pack of Cuban cigars he didn't offer any to Lloyd for he didn't seems the smoking type he kept repeating himself he's one of the few good guys he knew, only a pity he got the one girl he himself could settle with not that he doesn't deserve her for his wife is such a bitch doesn't even know a good man when she sees one look how she was willing to give up on him it cross his mind to tell him but didn't want to get into that mess with him,
"I'll meet up with you guys later" he said staying back to chat a bit with Laurence,
He turn to look at him when they were alone, "did you, did you know, did you know my wife" he ask
"Is that a strict question?" Laurence asked
"I am about to divorce her for aliyah is having my baby but I've love my wife for far too long I want when I leave her I won't have any regrets that I break it with her when she deserve better"
Laurence let his head fall and Lloyd waited for an answer
"She said she doesn't know you"
"Why don't you believe her?"
"For I got a feeling she's not telling truth"
"Maybe she really is telling the truth" Laurence said
Lloyd nod, "thanks man" he shook his hand turn to leave,
"She took my case and I pay her good, for she was good, she never told me she was married" Laurence say out loud to Lloyd's back, he turn and walk back to him, "my girls are mainly single woman that the only strings that is attached is me, she let me think she was, we dated for some months gone for weekends"
Lloyd think back on the weekends she said was for work, "I treat her well and she give it up, I mean give it up anytime I want, no offense" Lloyd held up his hand to acknowledge he wasn't offended, "I gave her so much and it always put a smile on her face, but I like more than one girls she happened to walk in on me and another woman and started going off on me that too bad, so bad that I gave her a case and she nearly blew it"
"Is that why you break in the house?"
"That wasn't the reason, maybe it had somethingto do with it and the fact that I had to pay money because of her carelessness, that too the job you just did I had to pay for it twice" he said frowning as he held two fingers up,
"And you organize the breaking"
"She got pregnant!, she, she was expecting to keep it, she wanted to keep the baby, but I wasn't in wants of a woman with child"
"So you let her took an abortion?"
Laurence nod
"When did it happened?" Lloyd asked
"Four months ago"
"What! And she almost got me thinking it was mine, and, and she got the abortionin March or April oh February I'm confused" lloyd said holding his head,
"It was only some weeks after the home wreck two or so weeks, I'm sorry man if I had known that she was married, or she was your wife before something happened betwern us it wouldn't have happened, but think of it this way aliyah is a far better girl she didn't want me but she will take care of you"
"And my wife?"
"She isn't in love with you or if anyone the minute she doesn't get her way she become a total stranger"
"So you robbed her why?"
"I didn't robbed her I only took my money that she took from me"
"She took money from you but how you two had a big breaking that the house got smash and everything in her jewelries drawer went missing all her underwear on the lawn front door smash in you following her around, yet still she get to take money from you"
"I ran into her, and she wanted to talk I invite her here and left her in my room later it went missing she said it's not she who had it and she was the only one who came in at the time I watch her and when I got the chance I took it"
Lloyd sigh thinking how aliyah had the same feeling he can't believe Monique did it to him for all the time she was acting on him and having him thinking it was counseling they needed she was right they didn't need counseling for this was all her doing he sigh rub his face for a while held both palm over his face,
"I'm sorry man I'm sure you will get over her for she's not worth it man"
Lloyd nod pat his shoulder and walk away, Laurence watch him shook his head and he too gave a sigh,
Lloyd swing by his parents since it was already late he didn't worry to go back to the office he was surprised all his family were there, the kids ran to him
"Uncles where is she?" Malia asked
"She must be home" he told her,
Malia smile
Lloyd ruffled her hair,
hug them again
"Hey brother" pet said
Coming to hug him,
"Hey" he said lifting her off the ground turling her around for her to giggled
"We weren't expecting to see you until tomorrow"
"I'm here to find out about dinner tomorrow"
"Aren't you having dinner with her?" Pet ask
"With her?" Lloyd ask
"Your baby mama"
"I want to but the family always have Thanksgiving together"
"You don't think you being absent one time for Thanksgiving going to shake the whole family" jessica teases
"Are you saying I'm to have dinner with aliyah and her family?"
"Yes" they all said
"Ok" he said nodding once he look to see they were all serious,
"Ok I'm going to go I will call tomorrow"
"Please do" pet said getting up to kiss him,
"Ok" he said hugging them all as he was about to leave Malia walk him to the door, "tell her I said hi" she said
"I will" he kiss her making smacking sound on her forehead,
After leaving his family Lloyd head to his house, he came to confront Monique he walk in the living room to find Monique walking around naked, there were times he loved to see her naked other times he crave to see her naked when she wouldn't let him he suddenly remembered why she wouldn't let him and to think he had love her so much, he face her rest the envelope on the table resting his hand on him,
"What's that?" Monique ask
"Guess" Lloyd said
"Are we taking a trip?"
"Divorce papers"
"What are you doing with divorce papers?"
She rest the glass on the table to face him up right
"What do you think Monique?"
"What am I to think"
"Ok so you're not a good thinker so let me tell you I don't want to be wasting any more time, I'm divorcing you"
"What you can't leave me"
"I'm not leaving you already left the day you brought someone else in our marriage"
"I didn't do that you talk to Laurence and he told you that is he out of his mind I would never sleep with him, how could you ever listen to him"
"For he's telling the truth, I just want to

"I have and you and I are done, you trick me into believe you were going through something, I seek counseling for us and you made a fool out of me, you know what it's all good I pray for you" he said walking away,
"Why all the blame is on me you got some street girl pregnant I don't hear you complaining about that"
"She's no street girl she's not married but she stick to her man she knows to be faithful you didn't I'm done Monique I'm done fighting for something that was only a fantasy" he took up his bag to leave walking away not looking back he wasn't going to feel any guilt for what was to be guilty about she was the one who cause the whole thing to be going badly she started it, but he's the one ending it, he got in his his van drove to aliyah's apartment she was waiting for him came to his arms soon as he got through the door she got off the couch and just walk to his arms swung her arms around his neck and kiss him tenderly,
"You miss me that much?" He grin kissing her again
"I almost thought you wouldn't come tonight"
"I'm just running late"
"Ok" she punch his chest, "I'm just glad you're here" she kiss him more cuffed his cheeks in her palm "did you eat?"
"Not yet"
"Then I will feed you"
"Is that with your love?" He tease "like in the song that says if you hungry I'll feed you with my love"
Aliyah smile took his hand leading him to the couch where she feed him with her love and with food she sat hugging on each other until their eyes gave in and they finally falls a sleep,
Monique sat over the papers looking at them over and over and over again she can't believe she and
Lloyd is at this point in life where they would be getting a divorced she think back on those time, the times when they were good it was good the best that was till Laurence came and all the money that he had fattened her eyes he did gave her things but them it was stolen all in one day he stole it all back from her now her husband was leaving and it didn't seems nothing could stop him she could go to court and fight but he would have many reasons to present in court why he was ending the marriage she don't want to go to court she would only disgrace herself in court and to be a lawyer with such reputation it's best to just sign, she finally give in and sign push it away pour another drink and swallow quickly pushing it away getting up from the table by now she had way too much to drink a and couldn't control where her feet goes she went out through the kitchen door stumbling a long the way, she lay on the pool chair resting heavily back,
The sound of the phone ringing woke her, it sounded distance and she could hardly recognize the surrounding area she was she lift her aching head to look around, "oh dam!" She grumbled realized now she was by the pool the phone rang once more she got to her feet she "I'm coming" she yelled walking to the kitchen,
"Happy Thanksgiving honey"she heard her mother said on reaching the phone
"Yeah mom same to you what time is it"
"Ah honey did I wake you?"
"No mom my clock just stopped,
"It's six"
Monique widen her eyes six she mouth
"I know it's still early but aren't you coming for Thanksgiving?"
"Oh mom I'm so sick now but I'll definitely try" she hang up going towards the living rooms she came up on the bottle of hard liquor on the coffee table with a glass a pen and the envelope she flashed back to late last night pull the paper from the envelope and tears came down her face she wondered why she was suddenly shaken by Lloyd leaving she would have done anything few months back to get him out her life now she's crying over him, she didn't feel like going to her parents but she did not want to be a lone either and her friends will be with their family she was feeling lonely now thinking back on the look on her husband's face when she was pushing him a side for Laurence now Laurence is done with her and she is left to face the consequences she rest her head on the wall and let herself weep thinking of her nightmare wondering what more to come and how to over come,
It was a busy Friday mid morning Lloyd's family prepared for dinner with aliyah's family dinner was at three and they were baking, Lloyd barely hang up from mark who was busy with shelly as their family were getting together for Thanksgiving he didn't keep him he call home in the middle of their preparation to check on things "we're going on just fine" Jessica told him he could hear the others in the back ground he was kinda missing family already thought he knew he was making a new family now and not everyone will get together at every event he was going to be focused for aliyah's sake he bid them goodbye and join aliyah in the kitchen, she was making pumpkins pie, and corn bread with cheese casarol and was busy as she was talking with someone on the phone someone who he came to realize was shelly when he walk in aliyah turn they soon to bid goodbye and she turn her focus on him "you ok?" She ask
"I am you, how are you getting a long?" She show him the oven and he marveled "it's smelling good" he said she smile "we should probably get ready"
"I'll grab a shower" "yeah" aliyah said he kiss her and left the kitchen,
After his shower Lloyd find something suitable to wear since he bringing the wine he went to the dinning room to get them, since aliyah didn't drink he only leave one for himself with the one he put away for mark, he save one for odane and the others he was bringing to aliyah's family home, while the casarol and the pie set aliyah took a shower got dress she came to find Lloyd in the living room,
"Tie?" She ask
"Is it too much?"
"Of course it's too much you look fantastic like this she remove the tie herself and open the top button on his shirt lean in to smack on his lips,
He stood to admire her outfit she wore a fashion designer's dress a shocking gold soft enough to hug her curves "Are you wear-ing any thing under that?" He asks on seeing the way the dress hug her body
"I am" aliyah said lifting her dress to show him he roll his eyes for she wore mesh panties that he could see her flesh through it, was that necessary for I can still see your parts"
"I like when you see my parts" she touch his chest "let's go or we'll never get their on time, don't you want to be back soon so you can see all my body parts" she grin and he giggles,
He help her to get the things in the basket and bring them down for her,
They have a quiet walk down Lloyd was thinking on his family aliyah didn't mention to him and didn't notice he didn't mention to her about them coming for dinner they were busy all of last night making out until until they had fallen a sleep Lloyd got there late and that limited the time they get to talk today while she was on the phone with nelisa he was sitting there then he started talking with mark leaving her in the kitchen then he talks to the family she talks with shelly then when they weren't talking it was time to get ready,
"Why you so quiet?" Aliyah asked
"I'm quiet? I don't have nothing to say"
"Okay" aliyah said they turn to look at each other then to the van he load the things on the back seat and open the door for her
"You definitely got something on your mind" aliyah said after a while,
"I don't"
"Ok" she said
They look at each other once more,
Ruth arrives at the house with her family at two twenty as they had made some preparation to take a long niomi accept with thanks, already the family was together nelisa and her boyfriend only aliyah and Lloyd were missing at the time, it wasn't long after they came Lloyd was surprised to see his family he open his mouth and look at aliyah it was now he realized he didn't know they all would be coming to dinner the expression on his face from earlier changes and aliyah know now the sacrifice he was making to be here with her today.
