hello fan and new comers, this is my second story on wattpad. if you have read my other story "Room 101 is it a place of fear or love?" you will love this. And if you haven't, you should give them both a go, I can assure you that will enjoy. This story has a bit of love and mystery and it's just fun to write. if you guys like it please let me know and I'll keep writing.
CHAPTER 1
HE'S A WHAT?
lea POV
"Sophie your party is amazing," I shouted over to music. Right now I am at my best friend's 17th birthday party and when she does things it's always big. I mean pretty much the whole school is at her house and most of the people here I've never really talked to before. I bet your think what an unsociable kid? Well you see most of them are all popular kids and I'm 100% not popular, people don't seem to like me but the thing is I've never really done nothing to upset them, they just think I'm different and somehow my best friend still seems to like me, even though she's one of them. But we have be friends since we could walk so I guess that helps.
"Thanks lea, but it's my party what did you except?" she questioned my jokingly.
"Only the best," I laughed.
"That's what I like to hear," she laughed with me. And we started carrying on dancing to the music. Then I felt something vibrate in my gray jean pocket. What the hell is that? I reached down in to my pocket only to find my phone screaming at me. Oh my god that's my alarm, if I don't get home in the next 10 minutes I'm going to be grounded for life. You see I sort of sneaked out of the house because mum and dad don't like Sophie so they wouldn't let me go to her party. And do you know the reason behind it was? It was because drink would be involved; I mean I'm not even a drinker; I bloody hate the stuff so I don't see what their problem was. It's not like they have to worry about me getting drunk because I haven't even drank the stuff. God they can be so annoying. But if I don't get home soon I'm going to be in deep trouble.
"SOPHIE!" I shouted across the room to get her attention.
"WHAT LEA," she shouted back at me laughing, she was so drunk. I pushed my way through the crowd of people, bumping in to them one by one just to get to her.
"I'm sorry Sophie but I have to go," I told her.
"Why it's only midnight," she moaned at me.
"Exactly, it's midnight. Don't you remember that I'm not meant to be here?" she thought for a second and then jumped up like someone had just shocked the memory back.
"OH GOD LEA YOU HAVE TO LEAVE NOW," she shouted at me.
"I know Sophie; now wish me luck because I don't think I'll make it in time."
"Oh sweetie you better, otherwise your parents are going to kill you," she said seriously and I just laughed.
"BYE," I shouted as I ran through her door. I could hear her shouting back at me, "GOOD LUCK."
I started to run down the street, it was completely dark out here; the only thing to help me was the bright street lights and the moon in the sky. I checked my phone and I only have 2 minutes to get home and I'm at least still 5 minutes away, I'm never going to make it.
Then out of nowhere I heard a screeching scream behind me. So i did the stupidest thing ever and turned away. I could not believe my eyes, there was a girl a little old than me about 19-years-old being attacked by some gorgeous looking guy that looked about the same age as the girl. He seemed to be kissing her neck but the girl didn't seem to like it. She actually looked like she was in pain. And when I looked closer, he was not kissing her but he had his teeth in her neck! No way, that can't be right. What the hell is he? The only thing he could be is a vampire? Hold on a minute Lea there is no such thing as vampires they are just a myth made up to scare little kids. But right now I feel like a little kid.
Lea, just walk away and go home like you were meant to. But what about that girl, I can't just leave her with him. But if you intervene you could end up like her to. Great now I'm talking to myself. But I know what I have to do I can't leave her I have to help some way or another.
Just as I start to more forward I hear a twig snap under my feet, I look straight ahead to where the girl and the vampire were but he's not there anymore it's just the girl lying on the ground. Thank god, he had enough and left.
"What are you doing," someone whispered in my ear. I jumped out of my skin, who the hell is that? Don't turn around; the creepy voice might go away. I hope.
"You smell so sweet," it whispered again. Now I'm scared, oh my god what if it's him.
I slowly turned around and screamed. It was him.
