Puppy vs Karasuno

"Hey, you guys got a game too?"

The boys from Aoba Johsai turned to see (Y/N) jogging up to them—ditching the girls' volleyball team in the process. Oikawa and Iwaizumi stayed behind as the rest of the boys' volleyball team entered the gym.

The boys' volleyball team from Aoba Johsai had a scheduled practice game with Karasuno, but little did they know the girls had a practice match after them. They had taken different buses at different times but ends up catching each other at Karasuno. It was rare for Aoba Johsai to visit Karasuno so the opportunity was taken for both volleyball teams.

"(Y/N), you guys have a practice match?" Oikawa asked as he and Iwaizumi both waited for her to catch up.

As soon as (Y/N) was in close proximity, she threw herself at the two with a powerful drop kick and jumped to her feet with ease. "You guys didn't tell me? What kind of friends are you? You're so lucky we met up at the same time. If I had to figure it out while you guys were in game, you both would be hanging by your underwear on the rooftops."

Iwaizumi and Oikawa took the kick drastically but Iwaizumi was quick to jump back to his feet, unlike Oikawa who wallowed in pain. "Hey, (Y/N/N), you monster!"

"Eh? 'Monster'? You think I'm a monster? I'm just getting warmed up—," (Y/N) exclaimed as she rolled her sleeves up only to hear her coach call for her.

"Hey, (L/N)! You'll see them later! Head over to the bleachers, we're watching their game!"

(Y/N) stopped abruptly with Oikawa in her grip but let him go. "Sleep with your eyes open, Oikos." She jogged into the gym and left the boys in her dust.

Oikawa painfully climbed to his feet then smirked at Iwaizumi who stared at the entrance to the gym. Oikawa pat Iwaizumi's back as he passed by and said, "I expect some amazing spikes today, Iwa."

Iwaizumi glared at Oikawa but didn't run after him. His heart beat faster at the thought of (Y/N) watching him play. He didn't want to disappoint her. He walked into the gym and looked around to find (Y/N) at the upper level with her team. He tried to ignore her presence in order to focus on the game but it wasn't easy. What didn't make it easier was the fact that she was praising and teasing Kyotani.

"Hey, Puppy! Stretch out your arms more! You're gonna leave your arms in the dust swinging them around like that," (Y/N) yelled from the upper level which got her scolded by her coach. She smiled at the younger down below and added, "Puppy, if you guys win I might have some snacks to share."

Iwaizumi could've sworn he saw Kyotani's ear perk at the word "snacks". Oikawa smirked at Iwaizumi them turned to (Y/N) to whine, "What about us, (Y/N/N)? We're your best friends."

"Puppy, if you score more points than Iwa and Oikos combined, then you can have their share. Oikos, don't you dare play dirty," (Y/N) threatened Oikawa with a phone waving in her hand.

Oikawa's eyes widened and he turned to see his bag zipped open then turned back to (Y/N). "You wouldn't."

"Oh really?" She challenged with a smirk.

Oikawa turned to Iwaizumi and said, "Iwa, help me!" Oikawa's plea went ignored as Iwaizumi focused on warming up.

The practice game soon started and the three boys heard the girls' volleyball team cheering them on. Iwaizumi focused on one cheer that wasn't aimed at him.

"Good luck, Puppy!"

Iwaizumi's brows furrowed as jealousy enraged him. Oikawa noticed this and took note to take advantage of his best friend's anger to win the practice match.
