In a stone pavement setting his face in front of a house that felt so oddly familiar. He didn't bother knowing what surrounded him as he needed a comfortable place to sit, he roamed around the familiar house and found an open window. He climbed up the house with his cat abilities sitting on the window with cushions, due to exhaustion his vision gets darker and he fades to sleep. He hears a voice, the voice is getting louder and louder as he regains back his senses since the voice is also oddly familiar,
"Why does everything feel so familiar?"
He spoke to his mind.
It's a familiar voice, it's nostalgic. He stood up checking below him and sees Jirou and Hiro coming out from their house.
"It's Hiro and Jirou! Hey!"
Mikeru realizes he can only make cat sounds.
"So... What do I have to Write Hiro?"
Jirou asked.
"We were writing a poem Mikeru was supposed to finish the last four stanzas but the incident happened. Honestly reading and thinking about it really pains me."
Hiro replied with a pained tone suppressing what he felt.
Kobayashi Hiro is usually a cold person, he doesn't say much about his problems you'll never even know if he has one, he is indeed a mysterious person. But we all know a person has flaws, he is introverted, a silent genius and a great friend all in all.
Going back, Jirou suddenly remembers what he saw when he passed out,
"Checking the treasure day by day, it left a permanent scar in my chest."
Jirou subconsciously said the line.
"What was it Jirou?"
He replied.
"Oh! It's nothing Hiro, just remembered something."
Mikeru made his way down to Jirou's front gate.
"Well see you."
Hiro sent his goodbyes to Jirou.
"Likewise, be safe out there."
He replied.
Jirou goes into his house but feels something behind him , he looks back and sees a black cat, he stares into it's green gleam eyes. The cat, Mikeru walks towards him.
"Well hello there Mr. Cat"
Jirou sat down to level with the cat.
"Meow meow meow!"
Translation: "Hey! It's me Mikeru!"
He starts to attempt standing up using his paws to point at himself convincing Jirou that he is Mikeru.
"Where's your owner buddy? Are you perhaps a stray?"
Mikeru realizes there's no point proving that it's him so he has to act smart.
He lets out a sad meow.
"sigh, I guess it won't hurt to adopt a cat once in a lifetime."
"You also have green eyes just like Mike-"
"Mikeru, you just remind me of him."
Mikeru let’s out a happy meow
Jirou lifts up the cat and sees a collar with three lines on it
“That’s a weird collar, are you sure you’re a stray?”
Another Sad Meow
“Well ok I’m returning you if someone is looking for you
“Let’s give you a name”
“Maybe i’ll name you Mikou. Mikeru + Jirou that’s a nice name right?”
Mikeru let’s out a disappointed meow
“What don’t you like it? Apologies I am with names so let's with that for now.”
