Whenever we get busy because of our school works and we couldn't see each other, we would always resort to just talk on our social media accounts. We would jokingly ask each other,
"Ako pa naman, 'di ba?"
And of course, the other would answer,
"Oo naman. Ikaw parin kasi wala akong rason na piliin ang iba kasi hindi sila ikaw."
That would comfort us. Kung sino ang unang magtatanong, ganoon parati ang sagot ng tinatanong.
What we had was peculiar.
Almost two years of having this "no-label" relationship but we were fine. We became happy.
Marami ang nagsasabi na hindi tatagal kasi wala namang label.
Wala naman silang alam kung anong meron kami.
Hindi nila alam kung gaano kami kasaya kapag nakikita lang yung isat-isa. Maka-usap sa kahit na anong bagay. May mapag-sabihan ka ng problema.
We would just shrug it off. Hindi nagpapaapekto.
We were two awkward people back then, but whenever we meet up and see each other, everyone would be muted out.
It was just us. Just the two of us and no one else.
But not for long, though.
