Amity stared at Luz from across the room, the window was open as it was a rather hot spring day, and the wind was hitting Amity's hair just enough for it to bother her. Although the light emanating from the window hit Luz in a way that seemed to make her look angelic. Well, at least from the spot Amity was staring from, quite unconciously, I might add.

Amity looked away quite suddenly, realizing that she had, yet again, been staring at the one and only, Luz Noceda. 'What's wrong with you, Amity? Stop staring at the human!' Suddenly Luz seemed to appear in front of the serious-tempered witch.

Of course, the young Blight hadn't noticed as she had been caught up in her own thoughts about, guess who! The exact same person in front of her in this very moment.

"Hey, Amityyy!!" greeted Luz quite loudly for it to be at a classroom level. Amity Jumped a bit, seeming to now be aware of the human's presence in front of her.

"Hello." Amity greeted back quite dryly.

"So, whatcha doin'?" Inquired Luz quite curiously.

"Nothing much, just uh looking out the window."

"Uh-huh. May I ask something, Amity?"

"Sure, go ahead."

"Why were you staring at me? Do I have something on my face? Or is my outfit that bad? Or-?"

Amity was in shock. She knew that Luz was the type to ask quite a bit of questions, but never in a million years had she imagined herself being caught, or in that matter even staring at Luz Noceda, the human, as she liked to call her. Luz continued to look quite curiously at Amity, awaiting an answer from the youngest Blight.

"Amity? Are you there?" Luz waved her hand in front of Amity's face back and forth trying to get the witch out of her own thoughts.

"Yes, Yes! Sorry! I was just thinking about something, haha." Amity tried to play it off as nonchalantly as she could at that moment.

"Oh alright then! Just forget about my question for now because I have something even more important in mind!"

Amity looked at the young Hispanic curiously. She had no idea what the human had up her sleeve this time, all she knew was that whatever it was, it was probably something cool and she had to be invited! Oh, who was she kidding? Everyone saw her as unapproachable and that one bitchy student.

She surely wouldn't be invited to anything, and the only time people did invite her was if they wanted something. As well as Amity Blight was 100% sure that she wasn't cool enough to be invited to one of Luz Noceda's cool adventures.

"So, I was thinking of throwing a sleepover this weekend! Wait- you guys do know what sleepovers are, right? It's not just a human thing, is it?"

Amity giggled at Luz's questions finding it quite adorable. 'Amity get a hold of yourself!' The young witch shook her head, attempting to get out of her thoughts.

"Oh! Of course, we have sleepovers here!!" Amity replied a bit too enthusiastically.

"Ah, I'm so glad I don't have to explain that then! What a relief!" Luz laughed a bit while looking at Amity waiting for her to laugh along. It took the young apprentice a few seconds to get the message but she eventually started to laugh along with Luz.

"So, Ms.Blight, I was wondering you'd like to come to my sleepover on Friday night?"

"I'd love to come!" Replied Amity super excitedly, this time trying to conceal some of it so she didn't seem "overly happy".

It was finally that day, Friday, and the sun seemed to be shining so bright, illuminating everything in its sight. The trees seemed a brighter green, the flowers seemed to sway more delicately, and the birds seemed to be singing a sweet melody in Amity's ears as she walked to the Owl House.

Today was the day of the sleepover. Amity still couldn't believe it. She had been invited to hang out with Luz. The Luz Noceda. She was in awe but tried to mask it as much as she could, just like she always did.

Luz ran out to the door as she heard Hooty yelling for someone to open it. She knew she shouldn't be as excited as she was to see her classmate, Amity. After all, they saw each other all the time, so what was the difference now? Well, the difference was that this time, there was no rivalry, just a good old-natured vibe, just two friends hanging out.

Luz never thought that'd she ever get the chance to call Amity her friend. Then she realized she had been standing in the same spot for over 5 minutes and that Amity must be tired from just waiting there. She sped to the door, and swung it open with all her force causing Hooty to yell out in pain, "OWWW HOOT HOOT!"

"Heyyy, Amity!"

"Hi, Luz."

"Sooo...ready for tonight?"

"Sure am! Are we going out? I brought some cash!"

"Yeah, sure! We could go down to Knockturn Alley."

"Knockturn Alley?"

"I figured out we can go into different realms with Eda's portal."

"Oh! That's so cool!!"

"So...Listen uhmm...Willow and Gus had to cancel last minute. Turns out that their parents are both going on road trips, and they're being forced to come along."

"Oh...So, it's just uhm, us?"

"Yeah, unless you want to invite your friends-"

"No, thanks! I'm good! heh.."

Amity was way more nervous than she had ever been, for goodness she was going to spend alone time with Luz! ALONE!
