(A/N Alright, I'm not gonna hold you up too long since I know you're just dying to see what happens... I would tell you if I knew, but I'm gonna be completely honest with you... I don't ever have a plan for where each chapter will go. I just start writing. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.(btw sorry this one's gonna be shorter, but I have so many math assignments that are late that I need to do or else my grade will stay a 68% so ye.))

                                                                       ~~~Brandon's POV~~~
Today's the day I take Triston on our second date. I'm so excited. He thinks we're just going to the movies and then out to dinner (pretty cliche) but what he doesn't know is that I have a surprise for him afterwards. I really hope he likes it. I get into my car with a smile on my face just thinking about him. God he's so perfect. I start the drive to Triston's house and turn on the radio. (A/N shit. I just pulled a hang nail and now my finger's bleeding. damn. just wanted to let you know. :) I'll get back to the story now.) I can't focus on the music though, all that's running through my mind is Triston. His smile, his eyes, his laugh, god how I love his laugh. With Triston on my mind I got to his house in no time. But what I saw was not what I was expecting at all.
His front door was open and a man I've never seen before was standing in the door way. Confused, I got out of my car and started walking up to the house. What happened next never would have crossed my mind in a million years, the man runs forward into the house, I hear Triston cry out so I immediately run inside as fast as I can. I see the strange man beating Triston horribly, I can't stand it. I try to stop the man and pull him off the boy I love... wait... do I love him? I brush the thought away as I continue to stop the man. Jake is also trying to stop him while Mrs. Holbien stands away from them in shock with tears running down her face as she screams for this man to stop.
I don't know what happened next, but something inside of me snapped when I looked down to see Triston on the floor. I wont let this man do this to Triston any longer... I can't let him... I reel my leg back as far as it can go before I ram my foot right into this man's croch from behind. He groans and falls to the ground. I knock kick him in the head once, just enough to knock him out. I have to restrain myself from murdering him right then and there. I rush over to Triston's side and lightly caress his beaten face with my hand. I whisper sweet reassuring words to him before picking him up and taking him up the stairs to his room with Mrs. Holbien and Jake close behind. Callie no where in sight.
"I love you." I whisper to him
And I could've sworn that he said he loved me back, but it could've just been the adrenaline. He's beat up pretty bad but it doesn't seem like anything too serious, we're still going to take him to the doctor when he wakes up just to be safe though. For now, we've done what we can with wet paper towels and bandaids. Mrs. Holbien and Jake left the room a while ago, so it's just we and Triston now. I sit on the floor with my back against his bed, I take his arm nearest to me and sling it over my shoulder while I hold his hand praying that he'll wake up soon.
It's getting pretty late and I've decided to stay here over night. I texted my parents telling them that I'd be at a friend's house tonight so they wouldn't worry. (They don't know about Triston yet. They know I broke up with Rebecca, and they were pretty disappointed. I'm just not ready yet since I don't know how they'll react.) Triston hasn't woken up yet and it's scaring me. I love him. I know that now. And I can't stand seeing him like this.
Please wake up soon.
Please.
I need you.
