Jonathan Kent: "No."
Clark: "Please? You got to play when you were 15."
(Clark and his father Jonathan were in the Barn on the Kent farm, debating whether Clark should try out for the football team)
Jonathan: "That was because I couldn't bench press a tractor when I was 15. Nor could I seriously injure anyone by lightly bumping them on the shoulder. I mean I don't want to imagine what might happen if you actually full on tackled someone."
Clark: "Come on dad. Don't you think you're overreacting? It's not like I'm from another planet or something."
Jonathan: ".....yeah about that.."
(Space ship in the storm cellar)
Clark: "...seriously? Dad if this is some kind of prank.."
(Jonathan shook his head with a sincere look)
Clark: "........You should have told me!"
(Runs off with super speed)
Jonathan: "Clark!"
(Clark rushed off the farm, through several acres of corn fields and was running down the road when he saw someone on a motercycle heading straight into his path)
(He skidded to a stop just as the motercycle was about to hit him, he braced himself and held out his hands as he caught the motercycle with his bare hands)
(The rider was stunned, clearly shaken up but mostly okay, then he removed his helmet)
(Clark's eyes widened as he looked upon the face of Bruce Wayne)
Bruce: "...how the hell did you do that?"
