After our shower, we had to hustle because all of the boys were extremely late, and we were even more late, due to our probably unnecessary arguement, and the make-up sex after said arguement.
I dried my hair and threw it up in a sloppy bun and slipped on my jeans and t-shirt, and Vic hurriedly brushed his hair, threw on his beanie and grabbed the first pair of jeans and shirt he could find.
I glanced at the bedside clock only to see that it was now noon, and the boys had soundcheck in an hour and a half.
When we made it downstairs, the rest of the boys were talking about what had happened between us.
When they noticed us, everyone fell dead silent and stared.
Vic and I exchanged glances and the tour manager High Life yelled, "What are you all standing around for? Let's move!"
We all filed outside into the waiting tourbus.
"Have you checked on the kids?" Vic asked.
I shook my head, "It's only 5am at home. Nobody's going to be up yet." I replied.
"Well, don't forget to call." He sighed.
"Are you okay baby?" I asked.
He nodded, "Yeah. I just can't help but feel like we're being a couple of reckless kids, the way we've been acting lately."
Jaime scoffed, "I'll say." He mumbled.
Vic and I simultaneously gave him a glare, and then looked back at each other.
"We are being a bit reckless, but we're away from the kids for awhile, kind of on a vacation, and it's okay to be a little crazy, although I think we've already been more crazy than we needed to be on our first night, but we'll get the hang of the freedom again. We just have to keep in mind, neither of us are kids anymore. We're 34 and 35 years old now. We're adults, and we really should start acting like it."
Vic nodded, "I agree."
I kissed him, "I love you just as much now as I did the night we met."
He smiled, "And I love you just as much, if not more."
"I don't get it, an hour ago, you two were at each other's throats, going for blood and slinging every insult you could think of, and now you're happy and in love again." Jaime said.
"We made up." I replied, looking lovingly at Vic.
"I bet you did." Mike winked.
"Oh, I get it, you guys fought and then you had make-up sex." Clueless Jaime.
Jade elbowed him, "It's none of our business, so leave them alone." She scolded.
Jaime fell silent, as did the rest of us.
Finally arriving at the venue, very late, the boys rushed to load out and get everything set up for sound check.
I sat on the couch in the dressing room and finally called Vivian.
Estimating it was somewhere around eight, I figured she'd answer.
It rang.
"Hello?"
"Hi Viv, it's me, I was calling to check on the kids."
"They're fine dear. They're all still asleep. What time is it there?" She asked.
"Just now 2pm." I said.
"Where's Vic?"
"Soundcheck. We all made the mistake of getting really, really drunk last night, and we only woke up about three hours ago, when we were supposed to be up at eight, and then Vic and I had a pointless fight that lasted twenty minutes, and then our shower lasted for somewhere around thirty minutes, so by the time we were dressed and ready to go, we were so late it wasn't funny." I explained.
