Chapter 13: The Medic's Free Day

Episode 13 of the original anime was basically a flashback of how Sekizan and Hachioji met and that would be hard to make original since Haruko wasn't there. So I decided to go a bit off track and write a bonding experience with her and some old characters and a new character. Just a warning that the new character is someone who is in the manga and not the anime, so slight spoilers if you haven't read the manga. And if you haven't, you should! It's so good! Now onto the story!

"H-How did this all happen..."

"Hey Hey Aoyama-chan! Did you see that! Did you!"

She turned to the boy with a sweatmark nodding to his question. "Y-Yeah..."

"Sorry that we invited you so suddenly Aoyama-san."

"No worries, it was a coincidence that there was nothing to do with the rugby club today." She said waving the boy off. "But I am just surprise that this is actually happening, Kokuto-san..."

"Hey! Aoyama-chan! Focus!" She was being shaken as the older Kirishima brother grabbed by the shoulders. "Ririn-chan is about to battle against the evil Roron-chan!"

'It was suppose to be a normal afternoon...'

~Flashback~

Sekizan announced that since they had the joint practice with Keijo to take a break from practice. However, outside her classroom, Haruko saw Gion who dragged Iwashimizu with him.

"Hey Haruko!" Gion waved at her. "Me and tree top are heading over to the club room, wanna come with us?"

She stood by the door as she looked at them confused. "But Gion, didn't Sekizan-senpai say that there was no practice today? Why are you going?"

"Gion-kun wanted to learn more about flankers and there are books in the club room." Iwashimizu said.

"Oh I see." She thought about it before nodding her head. "Sure I'll come with you guys, but I do have to leave after. This is the first time in a while we don't have practice so I wanna get started on a new knitting project."

"K-Knitting project..."

"You really are a baba."

The three walked over to the band room with Gion rubbing the bump on his head from Haruko punching him. Once they entered, they see in fact that no one was in there and headed to the bookshelf to read some books.

"I did my job of walking you all here." She shouldered her bag as she headed to the door. "Let me know what you guys learned."

"Got cha!"

"Have a good day Aoyama-san."

She waved at them as she left the club room. As she left campus, she stopped as she had a sudden thought.

"I got some new yarn from Kenjiji's mom, but I need new needles since mine are getting worn out. I guess I could stop by and buy some new needles and extra decor for the projects.'

With a simple nod, she set her route for the nearest craft store where she began to browse and left the store with some new materials to work with once she gets home. She was humming as she looked into her plastic bag that she failed to notice the person in front of her and bumped into them.

"Whoops! Sorry."

"No do not worry."

'Huh...This voice...'

She looked up to see the younger Kirishima brother standing in front of her. "Oh, Kokuto-san!"

"Hmm?" He turned around to see the Jinko medic waving at him. "Oh, good afternoon Aoyama-san. Does Jin high not have practice today?"
