Day 5

The sky was beautiful. Although being trapped in this hell hole, the sunrise was something to look forward to. The sunrise had illuminated the blue as if it were igniting the most perfect flame.

Your head throbbed even worse and your stomach started aching again. You didn't know if it was the injury or the added hunger or both.  You were so exhausted and you slowly gave up. You thought this was it. Your head that was rested on Spencer's shoulder started to fall. He noticed and tried to keep you awake.

"Hey! Hey! Don't fall asleep okay? Remember the rules? Tell me them."

"...rule 1..." Your voice slowly fading. Your throat was dry from dehydration. Even talking hurt.

"Please stay awake okay?" His voice cracked.

He tried his best to keep you awake. Elevating your head and lightly shaking you when your eyes closed. Everyone else was whispering for you to stay awake, their voices quiet and low.

Spencer started talking again, saying the one thing that could hopefully keep you up.

"Remember that thing I wanted to tell you? On the plane?" He let out a small laugh. "I was going to tell you.." His voice was getting weaker. "I.. I like you y/n. I have for some time now an- and I was so scared to tell you.." he lost his words and his eyes trailed to you.

The team slowly looked up. Derek already knew and he had a smile on his face. Despite the pain, he finally had something to smile about. His best friend, his pretty boy, finally told you how he felt. It only took a goddamn plane crash to realize it but he did it.

After all, you two were close in age, both being the youngest, spent your off days with one another, and just about had the same interests whether it was books or movies.

  You laugh, grabbing your stomach.

"Spence... I do too.." You smile and look into his eyes for a brief second before passing out. He tried to gently shake you and screamed for you to wake up. No response. He wondered what other injuries you had that could've been the cause and remembered you telling him about your stomach. It ached since day 1 all the way to now. It wouldn't make sense hunger had that affect so early so it must of been internal.

He moved the makeshift blanket off you and slowly moved your shirt up no further than your abdomen. It revealed bruising. Purple welts were scattered across your abdomen like a disease. It hurt to breath and he wondered if some ribs were cracked.

"Damnit! She's been bleeding internally this entire time!" He yelled. The team looked back over at you.

He groaned as he moved your body to the ground. He used what was left of his strength to do cpr. He knew once he started the second he stopped you were gone. But that was the risk he was willing to take.

"Please y/n don't die on me.." tears welled up. The more compressions he did, the slower they got. Derek wanted to offer his help but his broken arm said otherwise.

Just then, there was a whirring sound in the distance. It appeared to be getting closer.

Spencer was too occupied with compressions he didn't even hear it. He only heard his heavy breathing and your words echoing in his ears. "Spence... I do too..." He shook his head and tried to focus. You were his main priority. If you died he couldn't live with himself.
