It was 2 o clock in the middle of the night, the night sky boasted brilliant stars scattered across the sky as they formed constellations, below them, Sasuke Uchiha wandered the forest late night outside the village's gates, he leaped from tree top to tree top until he came to a halt. Jumping down he took a step foward before he could think, suddenly his body became possessed. Fear ran through his body from the sight he saw. Unable to move, there high above him he could see a silhouette. The moonlight lit the figure just enough to make out his ruby red eyes, peering at Sasuke.
"I-Itachi!!"
Itachi, kneeling in a squat stood over sasuke, his pony tail softly drifted in the nights cold air. Sasuke hated his brother, with a fiery passion. Staring into his brothers eyes gave him a weird thought that when he stares into the eyes of his own brother. he could potentially be staring into his killers eyes as well.
"Okay, got my attention " Sasuke says with an unimpressed tone"what do you want? Why did you lure me from my bed!?"
Itachi says nothing. Still staring at his brother like a prowling black panther. He could see his brothers fear. He was overcome with it.
"PFFT!" Out of nowhere, itachi burst into a flock of black crows as they scattered, their squaking echoed through the silent wilderness.
*24 hours prior*
Somewhere undisclosed in the Village Hidden in Sound, kabuto visits orochimau in the lab working on an experiment
"My lord, naruto Uzumaki has a request" he starts "after a few days of him constantly, and rudely for that matter, insisting me asking you, I would like you to grant naruto the opportunity of having a meeting with the founder the the akatsuki, Nagato."
Orochimaru halts in confusion
"And why would he of all people step infront of an akatsuki member?"
"Well, he wanted to schedule a meeting with Nagato, or as Naruto refers to him; Pain."
"The akatsuki is no laughing matter, especially when he has the 9 tails. Naruto truly must be up to something." Orochimaru says
"Yes, my lord" kabuto reassures "he is attempting to present himself infront of nagato to ask for a favor, however, getting infront of the akatsuki is truly difficult"
Orochimaru turns to kabuto, he couldn't believe why naruto would want such a thing, its suicide. Then it clicked for Orochimaru.
"Oh.. I see" he says with a hiss "unfortunately I have no contact with the akatsuki, I departed from the group years ago in fact, working under a younger filled with that much hate is truly burdensome."
"Yes, because we have Kakashi Hatake, a well known ninja and sharingan user, it would be a waste to kill him, so naruto decided to spare him, in exchange he wants to trade him" kabuto starts
