Ch 03

Yamato's Clone stood in front of naruto's bed, his eyes grew wide as the realization sunk in. There in his bed, Naruto lye sound asleep. The wood clone reported back to Yamato. On the rooftop, After a few seconds yamato himself looked awe struck all of a sudden. He whips his head back at Naruto in the cage

"Y-youre not even Naruto, you're a... You're a clone!"

The clone of Naruto grunts as they figure out he's a shadow clone.

"But why would you send a clone to break out while you're sound asleep? Why not go yourself?"

The clone says nothing, he just grits his teeth with an angry glare

Over in naruto's dorm room, The wood style clone in naruto's room pools back the blanket exposing naruto.

"Get up, were visiting the Hokage"

Naruto opens his eyes, as he lye curled on his side, he looks up at yamato. Yamato could barely see only given the moonlight. But Naruto from his bed gave a small smirk. It was evil, no it was malicious, it was a small one, but when Naruto looked into the clones eyes and smiled, it brought actual fear to him. He took a few steps back 

"S-somethings still not right" Yamato clone says.

Naruto sits up in his bed, with the smirk still on his face. Suddenly yamato takes a blade and thrusts it into the stomach of Naruto.

"PPFF!" Naruto burst into a puff of white smoke  right on his bed

"DAMN IT! THERE BOTH CLONES, HE GOT US!"

He turns around and sees naruto's ninja headband in the floor

"HES ALREADY ESCAPED!"

Yamato looks back at the clone he caught on the roof top 

"PFF!" It burst into smoke

"DAMN IT! WE MUST NOTIFY THE HOKAGE! THE JINCHURIKI HAS ESCAPED!"

Hours has passed since Naruto has left the village. Tsunade has summoned squad 3 to her office, kakashi, Sakura and Sasuke stand front and center

"Squad three, I will give you the task of this mission. This is ranked a level 4 mission, although gennin shouldn't be on this mission, you two may be our Ace considering the rogue ninja is your Allie, therefore I here by assign squad three to this mission - Capture" Tsunade says

"YES LADY HOKAGE!" says squad 3 simultaneously

"Kakashi, may I speak with you in private"

"Yes, ma'am"

The other two leave the room

"Kakashi, I want you to know what I cannot tell those two kids"

"And what is that?"

"Naruto is a big target for the Akatsuki, and he's out of our supervision, this capture mission could easily be a 5 dealing with a jinchuriki, however, the fact that Naruto has the nine tails means this mission cannot be a failure, if squad three fails, the 5 nation's will fall. I want you to be aware, when you catch him. You're not doing it for his friends, or the village, you're doing it for the shinobi world. If this mission comes back failed. You will see war not even the 1st Hokage has seen. It could lead to a 4th great war. I want this mission a success no matter what, a jinchuriki has escsped. Bring Naruto back, even if that means bringing him back dead, do you understand?"

"Yes my lady, I understand clearly"

"Wonderful, now catch up with your subordinates"

In the woods Naruto dash through the tree tops, memories of him alone on the playground pop back up in his head, memory of the pain keeps bombarding his mind. Then it hit, that familiar feeling again. The heavy chest, burning stomach, and his mind racing, the feeling fatigued him. The feeling is all too well. His eyes watered as he dashes through the forest, he knew where he was headed, he knew what he was leaving behind, and he knew what all that ment.
