Kurt got in his car and quickly drove home he text Blaine remembering he had unblocked him
"Hey that was totally a joke by the way😂 just tryin to break the ice again!——kurt"

Blaine sighed as he turned off his phone he was glad it wasn't a date considering he just recently got out of a relationship but it kinda hurt his feelings...he'd have to re-break the ice with his ex but part of him wanted it to be a date meanwhile kurt was laying down scrolling through Blaines socials trying to figure out what news happened in his life smiling at any picture with Blaine...he checked the time 2:03 am. He turned his phone off and went to bed...after all he had a great day ahead of him!

Kurt finished his skincare and moves on to his hair, it had to be perfect! He spent 1 hour on it, he looked in the mirror one more time he wore the outfit he wore on their first official date...he wondered if Blaine would even notice but he was just as nervous as their first date of not even more so, and this wasn't even a date!

Blaine looked in the mirror after his 5th layer of hair gel adjusted his bow tie and took a few deep breaths, he'd always been known for dressing nice but today he was trying particularly hard. He didn't know why he didn't like kurt like that anymore it's all in the past...just friends....little did he know it wasn't just him thinking that Kurt had been saying it to himself since last night and at the time he said it while knocking on Rachel's house door praying it was Blaine who answered.
"Kurt! Um hi are you ready?"
"Yeah let's do it! I wasn't able to call for a reservation so we'll just hope they have a spot..if not want to get ice cream instead?"
"Kurt the rambling..but yes it would be lovely to get ice cream afterrrrr our reservation at breadsticks!"
"Wait did you reserve it!?!"
They both started small talk as if nothing had ever happened in the first place it felt like when they first met, both oblivious to the others feelings and both being so happy in the others presence. M
"Reservation for Anderson" Blaine said smirking up at Kurt which made both men blush uncontrollably.
"So what have you been up too? It's only been what 5-6 years?"
"Yeah about that long...that's crazy before that day I couldn't live a week without you before losing my marbles" great and awkward silence again...

The boys went on talking about their lives and catching each other up on anything and everything that happened since then, Blaine told Kurt about his almost engagement and Kurt regretted telling Blaine about the stalking but told him he only did it for a month after the break up, they both laughed about it and Blaine said he did the same. They later went to leave, Blaine insisted on paying and Kurt said that he had to pay for the ice cream they were about to eat. They got into kurts car and started jamming to the music when all of a sudden...
