I didn't know what Kyles problem was, but I haven't seen our father in years and now he was asking me to stay away from him.
I opened the door and carried my bags into the house.
"Dad?"
Calling him reminded me of the night I called out of my mother, only to find out she dead...
I sat my bags down by the door,in the room and looked around to see it looked the same.
The same blue carpet with white walls, and the three couches along the walls in the room that all gave good access to see the huge at screen on he last wall the couches didn't take up.
Right next to that was the kitchen, the only thing that separated them was the white way that had a arch on the side so you could enter the kitchen.
Also along that wall was a door to a bathroom, across from that was a closet and next to that was my bedroom door. Straight across from my room was a short hallway that lead to my fathers room.
The door next to the tv used to be Kyle's room, but I saw that it was turned into a garage. Which meant that Kyle slept outside in that house.
Rebel teen...
I walked through the kitchen arch to see my father sitting at the large brown table that we got from my grandmas that was in the dining room, with a beer bottle in his hands.
I wouldn't have been bothered because people drink but it was the fact that there was five to six others around him and that the room smelled like a bar.
"Dad!"
I ran into his chest like I did Kyle but unlike Kyle, dad grabbed my arms and tossed me sideways. It wasn't hard, but he tossed me on the table and into his stack of beer bottles.
The table was wet with some of the beer and I slid off the table on the other side and fell to the ground hard.
I laid on the ground stunned at what happened, it shouldn't have surprised me especially with Kyle's warning and the fact that when I ran over to him, I ran into a wall of pure alcohol.
I sat up and rubbed my sore should, that fall really hurt.
"What was that for?"
I heard a deep chuckle and looked over my shoulder to see that my dad moved from his spot and was now standing over me with his arms crossed. This was not the man I remember when I came to visit all those years ago.
"Well, well, well... my daughter home" my dad slurred, but his words weren't in English sentences, maybe he took moms death a lot harder than anyone.
"Yea dad, it's me... h-how are y-you?"
He smiled and reached down helping me to my feet, at least he isn't as bad as Kyle made him sound in the car. We're his children, he wouldn't really hurt us... or so I thought...
"Tense, but better now... you look like your mother"
Dad tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and I backed away, the look in his eyes weren't comforting especially since I was here with him by myself.
My clumsily self didn't see where I was backing away too and fell back in a chair. Where he put his arms by my head on the table, caging me to the chair.
My breath was caught in my throat as I held it, trying not to make a sound or move so I wouldn't anger him further and make him do anything...
"if only you and that pathetic bitch you call a mother would've never left!" he growled in my face.
I would have kept quiet but he called my mother a bitch and he was not going to disrespect her right here in front of me!
"Who are you calling a 'pathetic bitch?!' you couldn't handle her death, so you turn to drinking... that's pathetic!"
I guess he didn't expect me to say anything because he looked extremely shocked.
Whenever someone said anything about my mom I got this strength.
Suddenly my head was yanked back and a yelp escaped my lips, it felt like he was going to rip my hair right off my scalp.
"you have no idea what you're talking about!"
We stared into each others eyes for a couple minutes until he let me go and stormed away to his room, slamming the door while he was at it.
I didn't wast no time by grabbing my bags and running to my room, why didn't I listen to Kyle, oh yes because he was acting like a dick... did everyone change while I was gone?
My room looked the same. It has the same white walls and brown carpet with the twin size bed under the large window, it wasn't much of a view cause I was looking at a field of green grass and the woods which started looking very inviting.
I did have a closet but it was kinda small, I also have a dresser and next to that was two black suitcases that had the rest of my stuff in.
The only tv's in the house was the living room but I didn't mind because I will be looking at the stars at night to help me fall asleep.
Or maybe listen to whatever was in the woods.
There was a house phone but I wasn't going to be using it. Mom bought me a cell for emergencies and to let her know things like if practice was going to run long.
I didn't feel like changing so I just laid down and closed my eyes, I wonder where Kyle is.
______________________So was this chapter better?
I didn't want to make her dad really mean but I did want some drama to happen so I'm just going to make him EVIL! But be warned I am a romantic and do not know how to write action so bare with me if there's a lot of cheesy scenes or more romantic scenes than action.
BTW, her dads name is John.
