"So are you going to tell me about him?" Vivian asked Adin. They were sitting across from each other at the mahogany table in Vivian's kitchen. She had beautiful floral plates and a gorgeous gold and chocolate brown floral arrangement as the table center piece. Vivian liked everything to match and compliment each other. She took another bite of the pasta Adin had made. It seemed Adin used her kitchen more than she did. Vivian had never been one to cook often.

Vivian swallowed the bite of food and smirked, "Go on, do tell me. I want all the juicy details." She laughed at the end of her statement. She scrunched up her nose as she grinned wildly.

Adin began to blush as he thought about his new lover and discussing his relationship. Luckily, the wine both of them had drank made the conversation a little bit easier to confront. For once, Vivian was being supportive of his endeavors, and Adin felt relaxed enough to discuss the newly found romance. He spun his fork around in his pasta as he thought about what to say and how to begin his love story.

Finally, he just began to spill all at once, "He's everything Vivian. His name is Octavious and he's gorgeous. He has this short blond hair and these deep blue eyes-"

Vivian cut off Adin laughing, "No wonder he's hot Adin, he's the male version of me." Vivian chuckled at her own joke and prompted Adin to continue.

Adin beamed with delight at how well Vivian was accepting this, "Yeah well, he's also very charming. He cooks for me and encourages me. He also is very good with a bow and arrow; it's very hot to watch him practice. The way his muscles ripple as he shoots the target, it's just so sexy! He also is into art and paints all the time. Which Vivian if you don't mind, he's in the military now, but he also talks about wanting to move into an art division...."

Vivian nodded slowly, "If I get to meet him, then we can discuss it."

Adin licked his lips, "Yeah, of course we can arrange that. He's really something Vivian, and he makes me happy. I think I could see myself settling in with him. He doesn't argue with me, and we always work things out. I think I may be falling in love, real love, not some artificial bullshit." Adin's voice trailed off as he talked aloud to not only Vivian, but also himself.

Vivian watched Adin as he smiled to himself, "I'm happy for you." Vivian was truly happy for Adin. He had stumbled into bad relationships and always convinced himself they were amazing. Vivian always tried to warn him, but he never listened to her.

Adin caught himself and looked back up at her, "Vivian because of this, I think you should look for someone, yourself. You deserve it."

Vivian laughed off Adin's comment, "I'm fine by myself, Adin."

Adin shook his head, "No, I'm serious. You always deny it, but I know you."

Vivian's mood slowly started to change as he kept talking, "I'm fine and besides I have Blagden to entertain me."

Adin rolled his eyes, "Yes, because that's a healthy relationship."

Vivian started to become defensive, and she stood up from her seat, "It is. He came over just yesterday, and we had a great time." She let the lie fall out of her mouth and land like an elephant in the room.

Adin looked at her surprised, "He came to your house? Like a date? You and Blagden?"

"Yeah, so I do not need your relationship advice," Vivian did not look Adin in the eyes.

Adin was both irritated from not knowing and angered by the idea of Vivian and Blagden together. He hated Blagden with a passion. The way he used people and only thought of himself. The twisted things he did, and the lies he fed to every woman in sight. The way he used people for his own disgusting pleasure. It sickened him to think of Vivian condoning Blagden's behavior while being so close to him.
