Blagden looked over at Vivian with a puzzled look. He quickly recovered himself and laughed, "Viv, I would love to go with you tonight, but we both know you would never let me step foot in your house. Trust me, I've tried." His eyes danced with excitement and mischief. The prospect of being with Vivian was an idea Blagden loved to toy with. He was always messing around with girls, but Vivian played a different game. A game she forbade Blagden from playing in.

Vivian smiled and moved closer to Blagden. Her mind went to all the times Blagden tried to kiss her lips, or how he'd invite himself over for dinner. She placed a delicate hand on his arm and her eyes gazed upwards into his, "I'm serious. Do you want to come with me for the night, just us?" Her eyes were blazing with a new found passion that he had never seen before. She often hid everything behind her cold personality. The warm intensity made Blagden even more curious and eager.

Blagden looked at her with disbelief, "I- yes, of course." He grinned and for once his ego was tumbled down. He had never expected anything to actually happen between the two of them. He had always wanted Vivian and the power that came with her.

Vivian smiled and took her hand off his arm, "Good. I'll be waiting outside. Don't take too long, you might miss your one and only chance ." Vivian turned around with a giggle. She walked out of the room and made her way into the lobby. Her strut was more obvious than ever, as she swayed her hips. Her blood covered armor shined in the dimming lights. The dragon seemed to come to life as its claws shined beneath the dried blood. Her raw, intense, powerful femininity was captured by the whole sight.

Vivian walked out of the lobby and closed the door behind her. She looked into the darkness of the city and heard the soft sounds of the nocturnal creatures beside the building. The stars were beginning to shine in the sky. The water in the fountain reflected their light.

She sat down on one of the benches and grinned to herself, but her smile quickly faded. Vivian had not been with a man in a very long time. What was she doing? Did she even know what to do? Romance was not something that came to her. This could be the second biggest mistake she ever made. The idea made her hold her breath.

Vivian shook herself and the doubt away. Blagden would be coming out any minute. All she had to do was play a role. Easy and simple... right?

Just then, Blagden walked out whistling with a newly-boosted ego, "All finished Viv, I knew you'd be dying to see me again." His black hair had become a mess throughout the day, but it only made him more attractive to Vivian.

Vivian rolled her eyes and played along sarcastically, "How could I not?" She got up from the bench and began walking beside Blagden in the direction of her house. The lanterns almost became stars themselves as they lit the way. Vivian smiled at the ground, and every so often found herself longing to grab his hand. She felt like a star-struck school girl. It made her sick.

The two of them walked in silence for a few minutes just taking in the components of the night. It was peaceful, just the two of them. Vivian had a million things running through her head. What if Blagden did like her? What if she promoted him? How would Adin feel?

It wasn't until they reached the door that Blagden finally said something, "I almost think the night is as gorgeous as you." His eyes twinkled in the moonlight. Vivian loved how they set off his black hair. He was most definitely one of the hottest people she had ever seen. He was beautiful, but he knew it too well.

Vivian looked at him and scoffed as she opened the door, "Kill yourself." She let Blagden in the door, before she went in. She carefully closed the door behind him so as to not make a sound.

Blagden looked around at the marvelous mansion and shook his head, "All this space and you live here by yourself."

Vivian looked around, "Makes it ten times better." She bit her lip and looked back at him.
