Chapter 10: The Simi-Finals Zen vs Izuku

It was time Zen walked onto the ring across from him his best friend Izuku Midoriya, the two stairs at each other with a smile, see before the sports festival started the two made a promise that if they fought against each other they would give it all and now was that time. As Midnightcalled the match both boys powered up Izuku using his full cowling to 25%, Zen transformed into golden release. The boys vanish at high speeds meeting in the middle clashing forearms together as the distance themselves Izuku rushes Zen with punches Zen dodging most of them until the right moment where he counters the punch with a toss sending Izuku a few meters behind him. Our hero did not hesitate to start an assault of his own rushing Izuku with a punch combo that would end with a kick, or so Zen thought he was countered and hit in the gut with a knee sending Zen back the two continued being evenly matched hitting each other with lefts and rights or occasionally Zen would throw energy blasts that would be dodged. In the stands the two boys classmates watched on in this fight., "To think Midoryia got a handle on his quirk and is now going toe to toe with Yagi" Kirishima states

"Its amazing on how strong those two are" Jiro says as she watched the match

"Damn you Deku, you should be beneath me" Bakugou says staring at the green boy

"You guys think Yagi can use the power he used at the usj" Kaminari asked gaining attention from the class

"Its possible, but who knows I mean if he did it would be on All mIghts level" Uraraka states.

Our hero is now standing across from midoriya smiling at his opponent who is also doing the same. "You Thinking what I'm thinking?" Izuku asks

"Yeah, no more holding back" Zen states as he smiles as Izuku powers up to his max percentage and is now waiting as Zen aura appears around him he tightens his fist as he concentrates letting the power rise high, he growls as he legting it build his hair flowing up more and more, the ground is shaking lighting arches around his body making the nearby rocks float up.

The crowd is shocked at the witness of Zen and the power he produces, a few seconds pass as Zen then lets out a roar of power and I giant beam of light shoots in the sky the class is shocked as the light dissipates to reveal Zen in his super saiyan 2 state the same one he used in at the usj. "N-no way" Kaminari says shocked

"T-this pressure its the same feeling from the usj" Yaoyorozu says

"Look at his hair, its the same way it looked at the usj" Jiro states

"Damn it goldilocks" Bakugou shouts

"Problem child, just how strong are you" Aizawa states as he watches from the announcers box

Everyone who knew Zen and was at the usj saw this power, they thought he couldn't tap back into it but clearly they were wrong. The two boys stared at each other before vanishing again like in the beginning both boys clashed head on this time Zen changing his style using kicks more than punches, Izuku was relying on everything from kicks and punches. Two minute passed as the boys kept the fight going, ramping things up each time. The two were now distant from another breathing heavily, they truly did not hold back against each other and clearly they both knew what was on each other's mind 'one final attack' both boys thought. Izuku charged one for all into his right arm as Zen allowed a blue energy over his, Both boys charged each other as they got closer cocked there arms back, almost in reach gaining closer both boys swung there arms there fists clashing sending a giant shock wave through the stadium leaving a cloud of dust. No one could see the boy so no one kew who won or not. As the dust clears a figure is shown standing in the ring that person was none other than Zenkichi Yagi now in his base form breathing, everyone looked for Midoriya to see him in the wall. Zen steps out of the arena after being declared the winner and walks over to Izuku and helps him out of the wall the two smiled as they both gave it their all, Izuku held out his fist and Zen responds with bump. The crowd cheers for the match that was put on by the heroes in training. But in a bar we see the same men from the usj watching "Master thats the brat who destroyed the nomu" Tomura Shigiraki the student of a unknown villain says

"So he is huh, he surely will be a problem along with the green haired boy" the unknown voice says

"Tomura, watch an learn any weakness is a good thing to taking them down in the future" Kurogiri says as they see the pair of boys on the tv walk into the tunnel.

"Fine,but mark my words that brat will die by my hands"Shigiraki says.

The boys walk to recovery girl to get healed after a hard fought match, both boys chatted about the match and the flaws that were made and how they can improve. As they enter the room they saw Toshinor Yagi, Zens adoptive father and matser to Izuku.

He smiled at the boys "Good match you two I am proud you both made it far" He says as he places a hand on both boys head

"Thanks All Might, that means a lot" Izuku says tears forming in his eyes due to his mentors words

"Yeah what Izuku said, but My fight isn't over yet I got the finals still" Zen says as he smiles and recovery girl begins healing them.

Time passes as now Zen is waiting in the waiting room for his final match, he was healed and began strategizing. He knew who his oppnent was going to be and didnt waste time he was going for the gold, there was a knock on the door to reveal Izuku with his arms bandaged after breaking it during the clash, "You wants some advice to take Kachan down?" He asks

"Nope, im gonna do this on my terms, I know his weakness and I am going to play it to my full advantage" Zen says as he looks at his friend "How's the arm?" He asks

"Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, I mean it was only fractured not fully broken like when I first used it and stuff" Izuku says as he rubs his arm

"Yeah, I wont be able to use super golden release in the finals or ill be drained" Zen states as he laughs sheepisly

"Super golden release, thats what you named it" Izuku starts laughing

"Hey, full cowling isnt a good name either ya know" Zen staes as both boys are now laughing.

Yagi is listening in on the conversation 'you boys are something else, brother not by blood but by choice and that will make you the greates heroes after me'

Time pases by as it was time for a break, Izuku had to compete again for third against Tokoyami who lost his match agains Bakugou, Izukus match was quick but good. He used tactics and stratagey and got past dark shadow and rung out Tokoyami taking third place in the festival. "ALRIGHT LADYS AND GENTALMEN IT IS TIME FOR THE FINAL MATCH OF THE SPTS FESTIVAL" Present Mic shouts in the microphone "From clas 1-A we have our anger issued explosion user Katsuki Bakugou" Bakugou walks up into the ring and stands there looking angry "Also from class 1-A we have the the golden haired wonder Zenkichi Yagi" Present Mic says as our hero walks into the ring the crowd cheering, he waves at them and stops to stare at the explosion user with a big smile on his face.

"Alright boys this match is for the first place spot, win or lose you both made it to the top understood." Midnight says to receive nods and it was time for the final match to begin.
