Also, I've realized that, I've changed my writing so much since the first few chapters. I swear- How did that even happen without me noticing?!

"No, he's fine." Roman assured him before grabbing both Patton and Virgil's hands, dragging them out of the room.

            ~present time~

Nothing could be heard other than the three's quiet steps and sharp breaths. Roman leading them as Patton stands in the middle, Virgil trailing behind. Everything was going good so far, they hadn't been spotted and they were almost to the door. Roman runs ahead, Patton following suit. Virgil glances around anxiously, not really sure they should be doing this.

"Roman. Are you sure this is going to work? They know where we live, you know?" The princely trait sushed him before nodding.

"I'm sure. Now come on, we're almost out." Roman whispers as he grabs onto Patton's hand, looking around before he runs around a corner. Virgil was about to follow before a hand covered his mouth.

"Now, Virgil. You're not trying to escape are you?" With venom dripping from his words as a smile spread across his face Insanity pins Virgil against the wall. "You're going to regret this. Don't mess it up again."

"Virgil!!" The last thing he saw before his vision fades to black was Roman being held back by a very pissed off looking Remus. Janus holding onto Patton, his human eye now a steadily glowing orange as the other is yellow still. His face was void of any emotion as he watches Virgil fall to the floor, holding tightly into a screaming Patton.

                 ~Time skip~

     "Hello?"

Looking around, all Virgil could see was a whole bunch of trees. A slight breeze coming from who knows where blew at his jacket and hair, it swirling his jacket around him. It smelled of fresh rain but it was dry everywhere that he looked. He decided to look to the left, trees. Looked over to the right, more trees. In front of him, even more trees. Turning around slowly, he takes a look behind him. Something was glowing. A faint purple pulse that slowly changed to a red color. It was mesmerising.

     "Wait... I've seen this before. Haven't I?"

In a split second it was all gone, Virgil shooting up from his bed, covered in a cold sweat. Memories flashing around before fading away. He looks around and relaxes a bit, blinking as he subconsciously rubs his leg. "Damn. That must've been a hell of a nightmare. I should bring it up to Logan."
