You take off your shoes and throw your coat over the banister going upstairs.
Mom: Y/N? Is that you?
You don’t really want to talk to her, but you answer her anyways
Y/N: Yeah!
You said a little louder than usual, not knowing where she is in the house.
Mom: Come up stairs, I want to talk to you
You sigh. Your not in the mood for talking to your mom after what just happened with Luke.
Y/N: K, I’ll be up in a few minutes
Not really knowing what was going to happen, you just decided to go to her. She was in her room, just watching an episode on something on CBC.
Mom: I’m glad you came home. Come sit
She patted a spot on the bed next to her.
Y/N: We’ll I didn’t really have a choice, and no its okay. I’d rather stand
Mom: Come on, please
You crossed your arms and rolled you eyes. Then sat down next to your mom.
Mom: So did you and Luke go to the doctors this morning?
Y/N: Yes
Mom: And what did the doctor say?
Y/N: Dr.McGarth said that yes, for sure I’m pregnant and the baby is fine
You mom didn’t show that much of a reaction.
Mom: Okay, thats good. Did the he talk to you about your options?
You immediately got off the bed.
Y/N: Mom.I already told you Luke and I and keeping this baby!
Mom: Honey, I just don’t think you realize how hard raising a baby is going to be
Y/N: Me and Luke will be just fine
You turn around and start to walk out of your moms room.
Mom: Y/N. Come back here please
Y/N: Yeah, no thanks
You slam your bedroom door shut and lock it. You lay down on your bed and check your phone.
Y/N: Great
You sighed to yourself.
Y/N: No calls or no texts from Luke
You think, I guess all I can do now is wait.
