Saturday

When I got back last night Emily was already asleep so I just got into bed but this morning she won't stop bugging me for details and I don't even have classes today so I can't avoid her.

I ended up tugging on turquoise jeans and a black vest so I could run down stairs to avoid her only to have Regina glare at me.

'Hey Melissa, why does Regina always look so pissed when she sees me?'

'She thinks you're after her ex-boyfriend.'

'Who?'

'Michael Ross. She only dated him because his dad and her dad were business partners. He's one of the richest guys here and it doesn't help that your family is richer that Regina's.'

'Is that all people care about here? Money.'

'Hey, you came to the school of millionaire kids, deal with it.'

'Right.'

I went back to my room, I'd rather have Emily pester me for details of last night than deal with crazy bitches. I might as well tell her what happened anyway, it's nice having someone to talk to.

I spent the day reading until Samantha popped her head in our room, 'Hey girls, Regina's having another one of her hazing's.'

'Again.' I moaned.

'It's the last one.'

'Finally.'

Emily and I headed down to the house's lounge where the pledges were instructed to sit around the dining table, Emily nervously looked at me and I smiled to calm her down.

'Relax, it's can't be that bad.'

Then I saw the bottles of vodka.

'Shit.' I muttered.

Emily followed my gaze, 'You don't drink, crap. Can't you make an acceptation?'

'I can't.'

Regina put a shot glass in front of each of us but when she got to me I spoke up.

'I don't drink.'

'Why not?' She was smiling.

'I just don't.'

'Too scared little bitch?'

'I'm not scared, I just don't drink.'

'I think you just can't take it.'

'Fuck you,' I grabbed the shot glass and slammed it down in front of me. 'I'll do it.'

Regina smirked as she turned to the rest of the group, 'It's simple, there are six of you and four spots open. First two to stop drinking can pack their bags.'

We each got a shot and I reluctantly downed it along with Emily. I haven't had a sip of alcohol since just before I turned seventeen. That was two years ago.

Ten shots of vodka later a girl dropped out and told Regina to go fuck herself much to my entertainment.

Twenty shots in I was still going strong, the alcohol made my head feel fuzzy but I kept on going. I refuse to drop out and let Regina win.

At thirty three shots a girl passed out and Regina eliminated her. Emily and I are officially in the sorority now... oh yay.

At least this means the hazing is over.

'I'm going to bed!' Emily giggled.

'Hmmm? Okay.'

I stumbled outside and decided to walk down Greek Roe for a while, it's pretty at night! So pretty except the ground likes to move. Why does the ground like to move at night?

So pretty.
