Jughead Pov
It had been days since Betty left her room. I noticed sometimes that she went into the bathroom but nothing more.
I sometimes brought her food. I don't know if she ate something if I didn't bring her anything.
Maybe she had food in her room? After I left her room in the morning, which was on accident because I fell asleep, I thought she would like it more if she didn't wake up in my lap.
Well one positive thing is, I don't need crutches anymore. I can walk normal again and I am pretty happy about that.
Sadly Betty has not just been ignoring my dad and Alice, even me. I tried everything to get her attention but she just walked past me, didn't even look my direction, like I didn't exist.
Today is another day I will try, I am no pussy, I won't give up! Okay that's weird motivation anywayss.

''Betts. It's me again, can you just open, so I can see you are okay?'' My tone was now more desperate and a little whiney. Maybe even desperate, since when does THE Jughead Jones do that?
I don't care, anyways I certainly had enough from sitting and staring at her door, trying to talk to her but it ends up just me talking to myself.
"Go away." Belive me when I say I wasn't shocked when I heard that response. It has been like that since days.
Alice is still pretty down, after she cried her eyes out, while my dad was comforting her.
Also me and my dad decided to tell them today about us being in the serpents.
Actually, right now.Alice and dad are already downstairs. Now I just needed to get Betty, which can be a little hard.
"Since you won't open, whatever you doing stop okay? I am coming in now, wouldn't want me to walk in on you naked." I said loud enough and mumbled the last part.
Well, wouldn't really mind (wink)
I open the door to with my shoulder, to see Betty on her bed in the most gorgeous outfit reading.
Why do girls dress up for nothing?
(A/N: Ik some do it to feel pretty and so on, I am a girl myself, just the character who is saying that.)
I stop in the doorframe, eyeing her up and down. She is wearing this rather short skirt, which I not really approve of. I mean, I am not saying that she doesn't look absolutely ravishing but this should rather just be for my sight.
What the fuck am I saying?
''Why are you dressed up?'' I ask slowely-
She looks up from her book, she is still reading. I can't see the cover but I guess it's Romeo and Juliet since I saw that book sometimes, no constantly, on her bedside table.
''I'm going out later. Just waiting for my friend to pick me up.'' She said, with an emotionless face. As I told you before, we are back at square one.
This is so frustrating, I never made such a drama about any girl.
''Well that has to wait. We need you downstairs.'' I rather snap at her than talk normally. I just couldn't help myself, I am slowely loosing my patience.
''I am not interested in seeing my mom if you want me to reunite with her. I have done a good job in ignoring her, and I want to keep that up.'' She says closing the book and laying it on the same exact spot where it always is.
Why do I notice those little things?
''It's not that. Me and my dad need to tell you two something important and it's for your safety.'' I said slowely, getting again worked up.
''I don't have a choice do I?'' She questions sighing. I shake my head, placing my hand on the knob of the door.
''We are waiting for you, downstairs in the living room.'' I start walking out before I turn and stuck my head back in. ''Quick'' I whisper huskily to which she quickly jumps up.
Chuckling I head towards the living room, already sending my prayers for this to go good.

We all sit together on the grey sofas now. Betty is sitting on the complete opposite of Alice, not even glancing her way. I could see Alice eyes get glossy again and I inwardly sigh.
I get that she is hurt but firstly she has made a huge mistake and not even apologised and secondly I am sick of her crying.
I feel really bad to say that but everytime I step out of my room I see her crying, or sobbing at my dads shoulder, making me wonder how long he is gonna put up with this, because Alice doesn't seem to get the slightest bit better.
My dad cleared his throat catching everyones attention ''So...Me and Jug need to tell you both something very important.'' His fingers fidgeting in his lap, and I don't blame him.
As much as I can see he really loves Alice, and telling them this could get him rejected, since Alice was always a northsider and her parents always talked bad about southsiders, which we both are.
And I am proud to be one, even if the living conditions aren't good, we have way better society than those rich snobby northsiders.
''Okay I'mma say it and I hope it doesn't change anything but me and Jug...are Serpents. Well I am king and he is prince. So I am running a gang right now until it soon gets hand over to Jug.'' I look at both of the women waiting for some sort of reaction.
Bettys bored eyes turned wide like saucers. But shortly after it turned into a wide, mishievious grin.
''That....is....so.....COOL.'' Both shook me and dad whip our heads so quickly to her, we could've broken our necks.
Alice gives her just a questioning look, I think she is still trying to proceed the fact, and I don't blame her. It's not everyday you run across gangleaders, at the northside at least.
Betty noticed all the eyes on her and snapped ''What are you looking at? I just think it's cool so the problem is not by me.'' She crossed her arms and leaned back.
My dad turned back to Alice and they both began to murmur quietly.
''Anyways, I am going out now'' Betty quickly says standing up, ready to leave the house.
I fastly grip her wrist, knowing how dangerous it is letting her go out, basically being the step-daughter of the serpent king now.
''That's the problem, and also what we wanted to tell you both about. You both could be a target now, you don't know what could happen any time'' I rush out quickly. Gangs are some pretty dangerous and intense stuff, but nonetheless I love it.
The power held, already as a prince, will only increase as a king, I can't wait for that day I get that title.
Betty sends my dad and me a confused look, frowning.
My dad sighed, not being annoyed, rather worried that after telling all of this they leave. ''The ghoulies. Our rivals. One of them was the one who stabbed Jug at the party, remember?'' Betty nods, turning back around to us.
''Now that you stepped in and helped me at the party-'' I started but my dad cut me off.
''They found you both. Our weak spots.'' Dad finishes for me, having his own worry lines on his forehead.
A/N: I have so many ideas and now the story line is a little bit of a mess. Anyways I'll see if I'll continue this story.
Have a great day/night my bubus♡
