i look at my phone confused.

what do i even want to ask him that i haven't already? i jump at my phone vibrating in my pocket.

unknown: Come on sweetheart I don't have all day

i sigh at the screen. i hear my friends talking around me as i pinch the bridge of my nose moving my glasses on top of my head.

"ella!" i look up and see the girls staring at me. "are you coming or not?"

"uh, where?" i ask, completely zoned out of whatever conversation they were having.

"come on girl you've been totally out of it for ages, we're going shopping are you coming?" tess asks impatiently.

"nah i'm good thanks" waving them off, they sigh rolling their eyes and i smile weakly at them.

"come on you're the one that drives" ally complains.

god forbid you have to walk around the corner to shop.

"guys i'm just not up for it"

"fine we'll see you at home?" i nod and the 5 of them walk off.

6 girls, the best of friends, supposedly.

since this anonymous person told me i need new friends i can't help but see the cracks in the 'friendship' i had with them, don't get me wrong for the past few years they have been great, but recently not so much and i can't put my finger on why.

taking a deep breath i walk out of the building to my car. plugging my phone in and i hear The Hunna play through the speakers. placing my phone in the holder attached my windscreen i pull out of the car park and drive down the road towards my house.

i see my phone light up and the ringtone sound play the through the car interrupting my favourite song and i see my brothers incoming facetime call and answer.

"hey matt" i smile

"you look tired" he greets.

"wow thanks nice to see you too " he rolls his eyes at me.

"have you set off yet?" he asks as he moves around on the camera. i glance once i reach a red light and see him in his waiters uniform as he sits down placing the camera so i can see him properly.

"just need to nip to the house to pick my stuff up. should be there by 7" i see him nod.

"okay, i'm working til 8 could you pick me up?"

"yeah course, you still at the same place or have you been fired again" i ask raising an eyebrow at him and set the car off again.

"piss off" he mutters "still at the same place, one sec luke's ringing i'll add him to the call" i nod as i see the screen connecting and matts best friend luke's beautiful face appears on my screen.

okay it's a little crush. but come on, blonde hair blue eyed surfer boy i grew up with? who wouldn't melt?

"hey" me and matt both greet him.

"uh, hey guys" he say, i frown slightly as his eyes are looking wide at the screen.

"you good buddy?" matt asks mirroring my expression.

"yeah, uh, yeah i just forgot how alike you guys look sometimes" i roll my eyes at him before turning into my drive.

"that's kinda what happens when you're twins lucas" i tell him parking my car turning my attention from my phone to the house. it looks like no ones in and i feel relieved.
