==========================
There is something weird about Mirio today.
He seems so restless, so agitated. It's really unusual for him to be like that.
I wonder where the cheery Mirio went? Something must've happened for him to disappear today.
Something was definitely wrong.
It wasn't just me, for Nejire and Tamaki noticed it, too. They kept glancing at him, as if thinking the same that I did. Even when they had a million questions, they didn't dare say anything. Well, I didn't either.
The three of us tried to brush off the fact that the blonde was acting different. I tried to talk about random things, but that didn't seem to work. Although tamaki and nejire tried to keep the conversation going, I couldn't help but feel a little butthurt.
Seriously, is he okay? I thought, nervousness building up in my chest.
The whole time when we were walking down the hallway, not a single word left Mirio's lips. I tried not to care too much about it.
It was only when we were close to reaching our classroom that he decided to speak.
"Tamaki, Nejire," he says, "could you wait in class? I've got to tell y/n something."
The indigo and blue-haired duo looked at each other, then at me, before looking back at each other. I was really confused too.
I looked towards him, wanting to ask why, but nothing seem to came out.
Nodding their heads, they waved goodbye, waking into the classroom. I waved back, watching them walk in. My heart was pounding.
Just then, Tōgata grabbed my wrist. Pulling me with him, he dragged us further down the hallway.
I started protesting.
"Huh? Tōgata, where are we going? We might be late for class," I asked. He didn't reply, trudging forward silently.
The further we went down the hallway, the quieter it seemed to have gotten by the second. Everyone was slowly going into their respective classrooms. Soon, all that could be heard in the hallway was the sound of our shoes hitting the floor. Yet, neither of us said a word to each other.
He made a sharp turn, before coming to an abrupt stop. I was looking around, trying to make sense of where we were. It seemed eerily quiet right now.
I was still looking around, when the blue-eyed boy started walking closer to me. I took notice, unconsciously backing up to maintain the distance between us.
"Hey... Is something wrong?"
Silence.
He kept walking towards me, and soon I found myself cornered, back against the wall. Leaning back, I stared at him, confused.
He closes the distance between us, till I could feel his warm breath on my face. Maybe it's because of how close we were, or maybe because I didn't know how else to react, but I blushed.
He placed his hands on the wall, leaning even closer to me.
I was going to say something, when he sighed. I shut my mouth.
Looking down, he whispered,
"y/n, you're an amazing friend, you know that, right? I trust you enough to tell you all my secrets."
"Well, there's a few things that you don't know of."
I raised my eyebrows in surprise.
"And what do you mean by that?" I asked.
He continued,
"Don't you wonder why I borrow your lipstick so often? Do you even know that i'm using your shirt as a pillowcase?"
"Lipstick? Didn't you need them for your projects? Or was it something else..." I trailed off when I realised. My face turned a deep shade of red.
"And I thought you said you lost my shirt...?"
He looked me in the eye,
"Well, I guess I lied."
"You don't know how much I want to ruin our friendship, how much I think we should be lovers instead."
I widened my eyes, shocked. I didn't know how to reply him.
His hands slid from the wall to my arms. He held my hands, stressing them gently.
"I didn't know how to tell you this, since you're one of my dearest friends."
One of his hands went to my chin, pulling my face towards his. Everything was going so fast.
"May I?" He whispered, his thumb tracing over my bottom lip.
I didn't reply him, only closing my eyes and as I tilted my head. I knew what was going to happen, and I am not complaining about it.
All i can say that it was pure bliss. His lips connected with mine, so soft and sweet. We were so close together at that moment, it felt like I was floating, flying even. I didn't want to to end.
Eventually, we both had to move away from each other. I was a little reluctant though.
I smiled, extremely embarrassed.
"The feeling's mutual," I told him, pecking him on the cheek.
