=========================

That's way too fast.

Barely a minute since we've embarked on our journey, a body has been discovered.

Todoroki was the one who found it. It must have been horrifying for him, finding the decapitated body of his classmate.

We tried and yet we couldn't decide on who the impostor was; there was barely any evidence to begin with. With a heavy heart, we all chose to skip the first round of voting.

Ever since the first body was discovered, everyone started pairing up. We all tried to pretend that everything was normal, but I could tell that something was off.

No one trusted anyone that wasn't their buddy.

I decided to pair up with Sero. He was extremely reliable, and I could trust him to keep watch for me when I did my tasks. We vouched for each other when blame was directed at any of us two. He watched as I did my scan, which could help further prove my innocence, while I watched as he did tasks in electrical.

He wouldn't lie to me, would he?

I honestly trusted tape boy wholeheartedly. I mean, we both looked out for each other, and i'm not dead yet, so why wouldn't I? and I doubt he'd betray me.

Unless this whole 'being my partner' thing was just an act.

Even though we all tried to be as cautious as possible, body after body was still being discovered. The number of crew-mates onboard was slowly dwindling, with many innocent ones either dead or wrongly thrown out.

I couldn't help but have this nagging fear that Sero was lying to me. It made me feel guilty, really. I felt bad for suspecting my partner and close friend.

But sometimes trusting others too much could lead to my downfall.

Right now, it was down to 4 people; Sero, Kirishima, Bakugō and I.

Sero followed me as I did my tasks. as I was waiting for information to transfer, I suddenly felt a chill down my spine.

Something terribly wrong is happening.

The beep on the monitor signalled that my task was completed. I turned around. Sero was just standing beside me, adjusting his suit.

I gestured for him to follow me to electrical, where I had to do my final tasks. The task bar had a tiny bit left to completion.

We were so close to winning.

Passing through the door into electrical, a horrible sight awaited me. There on the floor, was Kirishima. Blood pooled around both halves of his body. His spine jutted out from the upper half of his body while a knife lay embedded in his lower half.

Bakugō was standing a few metres away from the body, seemingly shocked by what happened to his buddy. When he saw me, he panicked. Taking my chance, I reported the discovery of Kirishima's body before he could.

Sero and I looked at each other. We nodded in silent agreement. We knew who we were going to vote out this time round.

Bakugō was trying his best to defend himself. Obviously, we didn't buy it.

The countdown began. 5 seconds. Bakugō screamed in a fit of rage, saying that it wasn't him at all. 2 seconds. The blonde was fuming, but it seems like he's given up. Times up.

Proceeding with the votes.

Bakugō was thrown out.

I was confident that we got the right guy. I was confident that this was the end. I sighed in relief, waiting for the announcement to pop up.

Bakugō was not the impostor.

No.

It can't be.

Then, I heard something behind me, and the same chill ran down my spine.

Turning around, I came face to face with sero. The male stared me dead in the eye, pointing a gun at my head.

"I guess this is goodbye now, y/n."

I held my breath.

"And I thought that you were the least suspicious." I whispered.

Sero replied, "You're too gullible, y/n."

And with that, he pulled the trigger. everything went black.

Defeat.

I threw my phone on the couch.

"Sero, how could you!"

The boy only laughed at my actions.

"Shouldn't have trusted me so much."

I pouted, "Never mind, let's play another round then!"
