Anniversary

She slowly opens her violet-blue eyes as she woke up. She stretches her arms as she yawns. She sits beside her bed and looked at the calendar on her side table. May 5, their first anniversary. She then glanced at the photo beside it. A photo of them on their first date. She stands up and heads to her bathroom.

After she takes a shower and gets into her uniform she walks toward her bookshelf. She flies onto the top shelf where a box is hidden. The mage grabbed the small box and opened it. Inside the box, there is a couple necklace. It has a bird design with its wings spreading. And once stick together it will form a heart. She smiled as she closed the box. As she returned the box into it's hiding place her phone suddenly rings. She smiled as she saw who it is. Her boyfriend.

She answers it as she slowly falls to the ground. "Happy Anniversary my love." She heard from the other side of the call. She can't help but have an uncontrollable smile on her face. "Happy Anniversary too... Beloved." She answers. "Meet me later at the park. 7 pm okay?" He said. Raven nodded. "Sure." She answers. "I love you beloved," Damian said from the other side. The mage's smile widened. "I love you too." The call ended.

She was reading her favorite book as she waits for the time. She's wearing a black, sleeveless, turtleneck dress. Beside her is her sling bag. The mage grabbed her bag and opened it. Inside it is the gift she bought for the two of them. After minutes of waiting her phone rings. It's her alarm. She grabbed her bag and walks out of her room. As soon as she gets to the tower's main entrance she saw Jaime and Garfield waiting outside with a car.

Raven looked at them, confused. "What are you doing here?" She asked them as she walks towards the two men in formal attire. Garfield opened the door at the backseat. "Why to escort you to your date m'lady." The changeling said with a fancy voice. Raven laughed when she realized what's happening. She gets in the car and Garfield closed the door for her. Jaime seats at the driver's seat while Garfield at the front seat.

When they arrived at the park's garden Jaime immediately opens the door for Raven. As soon as the mage gets out of the car a red carpet welcomed her. There she saw Karen wearing a yellow dress and greeted her by giving her a rose. "The Robin's been waiting for you," Karen said as she gestures to the maze. Raven smiled at her as she walks to the entrance of the maze.

When she made a couple of turns in the maze she saw Wally, Kid Flash. "Just turn left madame." He said with a fancy voice, just like Garfield. Raven laughed as Wally bows at her. She follows the path Kid Flash taught her. When she was about to take a turn she was surprised by Dick Grayson. "This way." The first Robin said as he opens a fancy curtain that leads to Raven's destination.

Raven's lips parted as soon as she saw what's behind those curtains. A candlelight date. In the middle of the maze is a table with a white cloth on it. She looked beyond the table and there she saw the bird that she's been looking for. The son of Batman gave her a smile as he walks towards her to give her a bouquet of flowers. "You look so beautiful, my beloved." He said as he rests his hand on her cheeks. Raven gave him a smile that only he can see. "And you look dashing as always." She said as she leans towards him and kisses Damian at the cheek. "Happy Anniversary beloved." She greeted.

Damian leads her to the table and pulls a seat for her. They eat and talk about things as romantic music plays in the background. When both of them finished their meals, Damian calls Conner. Raven takes this opportunity to get her gift out of her bag. Conner hands something to Damian. When he left the two love birds looked at each other with excitement on their eyes. "I got something for you." They both said in unison that made both of them laugh. "No, you go first." They repeated. Damian stands up with a smirk on his face. "I'll go first." He walks to her side and kneels his left knee as his other one stands. "It's not a proposal yet beloved," Robin said as he pulls out a box. As he opens the box there are two rings. A couple ring. "This is a gift, a gift that will tie us until we get married." He said with love all over his body. "Will you accept this ring? As a promise." Raven nodded as she stands up from her seat to hug Damian. After the hug, Damian gently grabbed her left hand to wear the ring to her finger. Raven did the same to him. "Actually, I've got something for you too." She said as she placed a box on his hand. Damian opened it and smiled when he saw what's inside it. "A couple necklace... It's beautiful." He said. "I know that it wasn't as much as the ring you gave me but... I hope you like it." Raven said as she takes the necklace off the box and wears it around Damian's neck. He looked at the necklace and smiled at her. "I love it." He said as he takes Raven's necklace and wears it around her neck.

After their exchange gift session, familiar music started to play. The two love birds looked at the eyes of each other. Damian smiled as he offers his hand to her. "Shall we?" He asked. Raven nodded at him as she accepted the offer. "We shall." Raven placed both of her hands around Damian's neck while Damian placed both of his hands on her waist. They danced with music as their eyes were locked into each other. As the song ended their lips started to find each other. They closed their eyes as their lips met. After a few seconds, their lips parted as they breathe for air. "I love you... Raven." Hearing this made Raven bury her face into Damian's neck. "I love you too... Damian."

This chapter is a thank you chapter for the 1k reads on my one-shots! This is totally unexpected. I never expected that I will gain this much of reads in just two weeks! And I achieved this all because of you guys! You guys are so awesome!
