"Raven..." She gasped as she turns around to follow the voice. There she saw Trigon. Still tangled with chains all over his body. "Release me, daughter." He demanded with a calm voice. Raven narrowed her eyes at him. "Never." She simply said as she flies towards him. "Remember what I said, Raven... Release me, or I will kill them all. Especially the boy. And you will watch them suffer." Raven couldn't help but be scared of what her father says. "We were meant to be together." Trigon said but Raven just glared at her. "Never." She said as she let out dark magic flow through her hands and reached for Trigon's chains. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" She chanted as she cast a spell to enhance at magic within the chains. Trigon glanced at the chains and smirked at Raven. "Do you really think that you can just chain me here forever?" He asked her as he raised his voice. "No, but it will hold you long enough for me to execute my plan," Raven said as she smirked at her father. When Trigon realizes what Raven's talking about he struggles and tried to get out of the chains. "No! Useless witch! You will free me!" Trigon said with a loud voice that made Raven cover her ears. The louder Trigon's voice gets the darker the surrounding gets. "Raven!"

Raven gasped as soon as she woke up from her sleep. She puts both of her hands on her face. Yes, Trigon's been hunting her through her sleep. She glanced at her side table and saw a picture of her and Damian with Titus in front of Titans tower. She grabbed the photo and hugged it. She can't let him take him away from her. She can't let her father kill the only man she ever loved. On the other side of her room is her bookshelf. Where there is a group photo of the Teen Titans. She used her telekinesis powers to get the photo. When she needed a home they took her in. Accepted her, treated her like their own family. All her life, all she ever wanted was to feel loved and accepted. But the Titans gave her more than that. From the day they took her in she promised herself, that she will do whatever it takes to protect them from her father. This is her third day of locking herself in her room. In the past two days, she's been meditating, thinking, and planning. Hours passed when she decided to talk to someone. She grabbed her phone and texted her friend.

'Can we talk?'

When everyone is asleep Raven immediately gets out of her room and walked straight to Kori's room. She gently knocked on her door. Kori immediately opened her door and welcomed Raven. As soon as they get in Kori offered Raven a seat. "So what do you want to talk about?" Kori asked as soon as she takes a seat. Raven lowered her head. "You have to promise me that you won't tell anyone, even Dick. Promise me that you won't say a word?" Raven pleaded. Kori nodded as a response. Raven let out a big sigh before she began to talk. "My father... Remember the stories that I told you about my father. He threatened me... That if I don't free him... He'll kill all of you. And I can't let him do that. You're like a family to me. And Damian... He's the only one who understands me. He's one of the persons who made me feel that I deserved to be loved. And I wouldn't want him to die. You're all special to me in many ways. But if I free him... He'll destroy the world. And I can't let him do that either." She explained while stopping the tears that want to escape her eyes. Kori pulled Raven closer to her and hugged her to comfort her. She knows that Raven isn't the type of person who likes hugs but she knows that she needed it. "So what's your plan?" Kori asked in a soft voice. "I-I'm planning to take down Trigon on my own." Kori's eyes widened when she heard what Raven said. "What? No Raven. You know that I-- we can't let you do this on your own." Kori said as she holds both of Raven's hands. "That's why you promised to never tell anyone," Raven said as a tear shows from her eyes. "Let us help you, Raven." Kori pleaded. Raven shook her head. "No, the main reason why I'm doing this is to protect you. I don't want any of you to get involved in this kind of situation." Raven answered as she lowered her head. "Raven... I trust you. But are you sure that there aren't any other ways?" Kori asked her with her hands shivering. Raven shook her head. "I'm s-sorry..." Kori once again hugged her and shushed her as she brushed Raven's hair with her fingers. "There's nothing to be sorry about," Kori said. "Kori? Can you make another promise?" Raven asked her. Kori tightened her grip on Raven and closed her eyes. She knows that this next promise won't be a good one. "S-sure... What is it?" She asked. "If ever I failed... And my father would use me against you... Please end me." A tear came down from Kori's eyes. She shook her head and keep on mouthing the word 'no'. "Kori you have to promise!" She shouted that made Kori nod in response. Deep inside Kori's heart is breaking into pieces. Raven is like a little sister to her. And she doesn't want to lose her. "Raven? Can you promise me something too?" Raven nodded in response. "Please be back as soon as possible. I don't want to lose you." She pleaded and Raven nodded in response. Tears start to come out of Raven's and Kori's eyes. When they calmed down Kori stands up to get them some water. "Does Damian know about this?" Kori asked as soon as she came back. Raven looked away. "N-no... Actually. I'm going to break up with him." Hearing this made Kori stop drinking. "What? Raven no!" Kori said as she shakes Raven, trying to get her to her senses. "He's father's main target. If Damian knew about this he would insist to come with me. You know how stubborn he is. I can't take the risk of losing him." She said as she looked at her glass of water. "But don't you think that you'll lose him by breaking up with him?" Kori said. Raven has thought of all the possible outcomes of her decision. "If I ever lose him... If ever he finds someone else while I'm gone. The important thing is that he's safe... That he's alive." Raven said and gave Kori a simple yet sad smile. Kori hugged her to comfort her. "I believe that you would succeed Raven," Kori said as she handed Raven a communicator. It has a different design compared to the one that the Titans have. "It's a private communicator." She said as she rested her hand on Raven's cheek. "When you need help... You know who to call."
