How to Get Away with Murder

As Zonnique and Bahja drove, they popped in 2014 Forest Hills Drive. They bobbed their heads to Apparently and rapped along to it. A couple minutes later, they arrived at the police station. When they got out the car, I followed closely behind.

"We're here to see detective Thompson." Zonnique told the lady at the front desk.
"Do you have a appointment?"
"He called us in for questioning for the murder of Breuanna Womack."

I cringed at the sound of my name, and Bahja started fidgeting with her finger nails. A few moments later, detective Thompson arrived into the lobby area. He was a tall, darker skinned man that resembled Denzel Washington, and he seemed to be middle aged. He shook hands with Nique and Bahj, then he introduced himself.

"I'm detective Thompson, and I will be conducting your questioning today. I'm sorry for the death of your close friend, Ms.Womack, but I'm sure she's in a much better place now. I will be interviewing you separately, so who would like to go first?"

He attempted to brighten the mood with a big smile, but it didn't take the shocked expression off Bahja's face.

"Separately?" ,Bahja said, shockingly.
"Yes, it's against the law to question you at the same time, you might lie or try to play me like a fool."
"May I speak to Bahj for a sec?", Zonnique said to Thompson.
"Of course."
Detective Thompson made conversation with the lady working at the desk, while the two "spoke".

"Bahja, you need to calm down, everything's going to be just fine! You just need to make your lies believable, and she need to have the same answers for each question."
"What if he asks us different questions? They'll throw us jail!"
"Girl, just make every answer believable, and I'll handle the rest. Got it?"
"I'll try."

After their brief conversation, they returned to Thompson ready to conduct the questioning. Zonnique went first.

- Zonnique's Questioning -

"So, was there anyone that had a strong dislike for Ms.Womack?"
"No, not that I knew of."
"Did you and Ms.Womack have any type of altercation before her death?"
"Of course not, me and Breuanna had a very close relationship, she was like my sister."

She attempted to fake cry to receive sympathy. Thompson patted her on the shoulder, and radioed for someone to bring a box of tissues to the room along with extra batteries for his recorder for the interviews. Five minutes later, a man arrived with the items in hand, and they continued the interview.
