Their Little Biker by

Title: 4/5 I love how the title is very straight-forward and simple. It definitely goes with the book. I think the simplicity is what makes it more captivating.

Cover: 3/5 I'll admit, when I first came across this book cover, I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking at. I'm not sure if it's because the cover is mostly dark or if it's because the body part isn't as noticeable at first or if it's because I'm blind. Either way, I did have a hard time registering what it was. It took me a bit, however, I love everything else about the cover: the font, the colors, the contrast. It's a really nice touch! And the tattoo's stood out the most haha!

Blurb: 5/5 The blurb was one of the first things that caught my interest when I came across this book (and the fact that I love biker stories when they're done well), but this exceeded my expectations. The blurb is fairly short but I personally think it's best that way, because it doesn't give too much information. A clear conflict is laid out within the blurb, as well as a possible solution for readers to think about, on how the story will end. I think it's really well-done!

Plot: 4/5 The plot is very intricate. While the romance is heavy between the characters, it's not the only main focus, which I like. The author manages to sneak in a dark suspenseful plot that shadows over her character, Romee, and the club as a whole. I also love the small hints and details the author throws in, to hint at secrets that Romee may know nothing about, considering we don't know much about why she seems to be the center of these rival biker attacks.

Pacing: 4/5 The pacing in this book is very steady, starting straight from the first chapter. I love the way we're eased into Romee's life in the motorcycle club; how she was introduced to the biker life and how she adjusted from childhood to her adulthood, as well as the different kinds of relationships she's made (romantic and unromantic). My only criticism is the pacing in the bond forming between Madden and Romee. There are times where the connection doesn't feel real. I'm not sure if that's because the "love interest(s)" aren't quite clear yet, since there's been a bit of back and forth, or if it's because sometimes I feel as though their interactions are rushed. Not always, just sometimes. Besides that though, I do love their relationship a lot. And I can't wait to see how it further develops along the way.

Character Development: 5/5 We're only fifteen chapters in and I've already felt like I've seen an immense turning point in Romee's character. I absolutely love the build up you've set up for her. In the beginning, she comes off as this woman who's made of steel due to the biker life. However, we see a change in that as the character, Madden, enters her life (among other dangerous events that begin to take place). It feels as though Romee is starting to get in touch with a side of herself she never knew was there. That's what I love most about her. We know she's a strong, independent woman who can handle herself by all means. But we also discover a bit of fragility underneath.

Overall Comments: This is the first time I've ever read a book that's touched on polyamorous relationships and the author does an amazing job of weaving it in naturally. If polyamory, bikers, badass female MC's, and dangerous stakes are your thing, then this is the book for you!
