Logan-
I didn't really like the first day of school, don't get me wrong, I love school but the first day is always so uneventful. I go to my locker and round then corner nearly flatten someone.
"That was close," the gay says," I didn't want to run into two different people today." I looked at the guy and felt butterflies in my stomach. He wore black ripped jeans and a baggy jacket with purple patches. He was very pale with odd black makeup underneath electrifying grey-blue eyes.
"Sorry," I apologize," I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings."
"Don't worry neither was I," the guy says. After and awkward moment, I shift my backpack on my shoulders.
"Well I should get going," I sigh.
"Wait," the guy says hastily," I could use some help and you seem like the smart type." He was very obviously nervous, he kept shifting back and forth while his bag hung off on shoulder.
"Sure," I reply. He smiles and my heart leaps to my heart and the butterflies return.
"Thanks," he sighs then smiles," I'm kinda new and haven't quite figured how the lockers work yet." I softly smile a little, wait did I just smile?! What is this guy doing to me?
"I guessed as much," I reply," our padlocks and lockers can be a bit difficult to control, let me show you how." I soon explain to him how to open and close the locker, and what to do if they get stuck. Throughout the explanation he seemed genuinely interested about what I had to say. It was new to me since everyone usually ignores me or gets annoyed by me. He eventually has to leave and so do I, he gives me a small salute and leaves. Shit, I never got his name I hope I see him later so that I may ask.
Patton-
I was so ready for today, I was practicing skipping to my first class. I made sure to come early to get my locker set up and to make sure I had everything. I made sure to keep my soulmates beamed exposed, to make sure when they see their names they know we are meant to be. I walk to my first period which happened to be honors English, I may look clueless but but I'm actually pretty smart. I have both honors English and honors Science, I decided to opt out of honors History and Math because those subjects have always been the hardest for me. I hear the bell ring and I skip to the next class, which happens to be honors English. I sit in the middle of the room and turned to the guy next to me. He was hot but his expression was somewhat cold looking. He looked like he was possibly for Asian decent, but you can never judge someone's looks just off of first appearance. He had very dark brown hair which was just slightly wavy, he then had almost black eyes but the classroom lights show that his eyes were just dark brown. He was wearing a deep blue pollo shirt with a black tie and black jeans. He was very formal looking, especially with his matching glasses. Upon realizing I was staring I quietly look away as my cheeks heat up. The teacher walks in and I can definitely tell she is Irish, other than the fact she is super pale and has very red hair.
"Alright class," she started, her slight accent bleeding in,"my name is Ms. Field. I want to tell you you this I don't normally do a formal roll-call because it eats out of class time. Today will be the only day you will hear me do a formal roll-call, biting this roll-call please keep an ear out for you soulmate. I will not repeat names so if you weren't paying attention, bummer for you. If you don't hear your soulmates name, then sorry try another class. Ok, when I call your name as here." I looked around at the 30 kids in my class, I really hope I meet at least one of my soulmates.
"Amy Arrirean, David Ammeri, Sarah Baker, Tony Bank, Logan Berry," Ms. Field called names. I hear a here form next to me and I internally squeak, Logan Berry is one of my names. My soulmate is the hot guy next to me, I scream in the inside. I need to re focus or else I run the risk of missing my other soulmates names.
"Tommy Carther, Sabastion Conten, Virgil Dark," Ms. Field continues. I hear a small here from the back of the class, both me and Logan turn around to see an emo looking teen in the back of the class. OMG! I internally freak, two of my soulmates in one class!
"Patton Heart," the teacher calls.
"Here!" I answer. I can practically feel their stares on me, I need to keep focusing!I remind myself.
"Kara Hethen, Taylor Johnson, Remy Karther, Roman King," the teacher reads off the names.
"Here," a cheery but beep voice calls off a seat behind me. I turn and about two seats over and one back is a tall handsome guy. He sees me and winks which makes me blush pink. Welp, I couldn't get any more lucky think to myself.
