Me and Nick we're walking home after school. Nick lives across the street from us, so, we walk home together everyday.

"Hey, Nick?" I said, trying to get his attention.

"Yeah?" He answered, kicking a pebble off the sidewalk. He looked up and met my gaze, his eyes were a beautiful light brown. I felt myself slowly drowning in his eyes, but not bothering to fight it.

We were at my door, eyes still locked. I could swear I seen something in his eyes before he looked at the ground.

I blushed, realizing I had just been staring at him. I looked down at my hands before looking back up at him and clearing my throat. He looked back up at me with an expressionless look.

"Uhm, w-would you like to come in? I have t-this new game that came in the mail yesterday and I haven't had a chance to play it yet. D-do you wanna play with me?" I asked, hopeful he would say yes. I don't want him to leave yet.

He looked back at the ground and I saw his shoulders shaking, I was confused until I heard light chuckling. I realized he was laughing.

"What's so fun-" I was about to ask, but cut my self off when I realized. I looked down to my converse, the feeling of my face on fire.

"Definitely." Said a low but not to low voice, I looked up just in time to see him wink at me with a smirk plastered on his lips. I blushed deeper while he ruffled my hair and walked past me to get inside.

"Asshole" I muttered, thinking he couldn't hear me.

"I heard that!" He said, while I giggled and he rolled his eyes and strutted to my fridge.
