In the morning, I went to Chris's room tho Check on him. The police were still here.
Me and him went to go get sum food together.
"U ok"
"Yea,I'm just afraid to get out of the hospital."
"Cuz of Meghan?"
"Yea. She's gonna murder me forreal. U see what she did last night."
"I'm worried about that too. She's very sneaky.
After eating we go to my room and talk.
"Jaide."
"Yea."
"I know I've already told u this but, I still care about u. I love u, like a..."
"Like a..." I repeated smiling.
"Like a sister"
"U mean u don't love me like a girlfriend? I saved your life last night."
"I know but, Meg..."
"Chris,u don't have to be scared anymore. I'm with u. Say whatever u need to say." I said in a calm voice.
Doctor walks in.
"What are u doin in another patients room?"
"We,We were just talking. I'll leave now."
He stands up quickly and walks towards the door.
"Bu,wait,Chris?"
He leaves
"Is that your boyfriend?(chuckles)"
I look at him seriously and don't answer.
"Sorry. Well miss Jaide,you'll be out today. I hope the stitches under the cast are working. Your mother is going to be here soon. Go ahead and get dressed."
The doctor leaves and I start to get dressed.
I met the doctor and my mom in the lobby. The doctor was handing her a pill bottle and paperwork. She notices me and comes over to me.
"Oh,my baby. U ok?"
"Yea I'm fine."
She gives me a tight hug. She was squeezing me so hard that her big stomach was suffocating me.
"Umm...mom(out of breath")
She lets go out me.
She fills out the papers and we leaves.
***In the car***
"So what happened last night Jaide? I heard there were police there were police there all night."
"Yea...umm... Meghan busted in and tried to kill Chris and the doctor. "
"Are u serious!"
"Yea. I was so worried about him, I mean no I wasn't, I mean,well...uugghh"
"Wait what? I thought u broke up with him?"
"I did"
"Do u still have feelings about him?"
"What ?(scoffs) no."
"But u just said u were worried bout him."
"Can we...can we just drop the conversation."
"I guess"
