At school the next day. I saw, him, and didn't say anything to him. In homeroom I moved my seat next to Teresa.
"Hey Teresa"
"Hey wassup"
"I don't like cheaters"
"Me neither, they're always cheating off my tests"
"Not that silly, I'm talking about Chris"
"Oh Chris hurt u? Let me get my gun. "
"U funny Teresa. But Yesterday he kissed Meghan right in front of me"
I said that loudly and made sure he heard me and I think he did.
"Meghan is,or was,my bestfriend. O just can't believe she would let him do that."
"Dang, I'm sorry sis. Lets go out for lunch today"
***Chris POV***
Dang, I feel like an idiot. I can't just say I'm sorry. She won't believe me. I have to give her a gift or somethin. It had to be big.
She's actin like I can't hear her over there talkin bout me.
***During lunch***
On the phone with Darryl.
"Bro meet me in front of the school"
"Aight"
I walked outside and met up with Darryl.
"U got the flowers and ring?"
"Yea"
We go inside and go to the cafeteria. I see Jaide sitting next to Teresa. Me and Darryl walked in.
*** Jaide POV***
Ugh I don't even want to see him. He walks into the cafeteria like he's bout to propose to somebody. Aaaand he walks towards me.
***Back to Chris POV***
Well I'm about to try and do this. I stand on top of a table and announced...
"People of Seattle Shores High I have an announcement...and an apology to make. "
I was making sure Jaide was listening. I looked at her and finally got her attention.
"Yesterday,I made a tremendous mistake...to the one I love. Jaide...I am sorry. It was a stupid decision to...to...cheat. I love u and I want u to take me back. I bought u these flowers, and a diamond ring. I..."
"Save it Chris. I don't want you anymore. You di..."
"But...Jaide! Please! All I want is to be with u again!"
"Maybe u need to think harder than gifts...Maybe u need too rewind time..."
Jaide leaves.
I start to cry a little. I hear people"awwing". I tried. I want her back.
There's no point. Once she is mad,she stays mad forever.
I feel someone patting on my shoulder. I look up and it was Teresa.
"Hey... that was really brave Chris"
She smiled at me then left.
I can't believe I lost Jaide. I didn't know what to do with myself.
