(Y/n's pov)

"There was poison in the water. No water should be looking that blue." Gryffin states. It was the morning after and I was getting fixed up to listen to the interrogation.
"Do we know what kind of poison it was?" I asked him. "It's teronis. It's supposed to make the subject suffocate." Gryffin explained simply. I hope that we now have a lead on what's going on because I really want this to be over and done with already. I just hope it's not vague.
"What information did he give you?" I asked him. "He said something about an organization but it was still very vague. We will get information, I promise y/n." Gryffin tried reassuring me as best he could but then suddenly the door busted open to reveal ryoo with the most serious facial expression. "Lets start the interrogation." Later last night I had written to emperor ryoo immediately after the assassination attempt and explained that we might have leads to who ever might want to kill me. Ryoo came as soon as he heard.
To the dungeon we went! The two men were in separate rooms so one another couldn't influence each other's thoughts and desires.
"Who do you work for." Ryoo demanded the answer with a cold tone in his voice. The man glared at the emperor then at me. "Don't look at her, look at me." Ryoo demanded, gryffin stood in front of me protectively. "It's an organization made by the men who swore to their practice." The man grinned like he just won the fucking lottery. Ryoo growled softly. "What's the organization about?" Ryoo asked then the man had a pale look to his face as if he had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "It's a practicing art of weapons..." this man is being extremely difficult when it comes to this information. "Who leads this group?" I asked suddenly and he looked at me with furrowed brows. He knew he couldn't answer that, there was something to him that gave off a bad shift in the air.
"A person with passionate beliefs." I tightly gripped by fists in anger and frustration. "You will stay here longer the more vague you are." I say simply with no problem at all with it. "Go ahead, I've got forever." He smirked and laid back on the board he was strapped down on. "Is this person man or a woman?" Ryoo asked him. He stayed very quiet. That question would determine who to look out for in the kingdom if they were to be a tyrant. The man didn't answer. So we moved on to the next assassin.
We asked the same questions and he seemed to be less vague then the man he worked with.
"Is the person you work for a man or a woman?" Ryoo asked the same question we asked before we left the last man to himself. "I will not release such information of the person who I work for. They can see and listen. They know all." Gryffin then stepped forwards closer to the man with furrowed brows as he crossed his arms. "How so?" He asked curiously. The man fiddled around with things and looked around at every single person in the room. "I can't say..." he whispered. He seemed so fearful, to protect what ever he was trying to protect. "Is this a religion?" I stepped forward asking. "I can't speak anymore!" He snapped with such fear in his eyes. We weren't going to get much information from these men so we decided to leave them be while me and ryoo hold a conference together with many other politicians to talk about the information that was given which really wasn't that much.
But with the situation of the religion question, it seemed to get more interesting when i just asked the second man that question.
"The way he answered the question seemed very hostile. He's very protective on the subject." I say softly while gryffin nodded by my side. "So maybe it might be a religion the tyrant is apart of." One of the politicians said as they scratched their chin. "The second man had said that they, hear, know and see all. Gryffin you found that fascinating yes?" Ryoo asked the assassin next to me which he nodded as he held his chin with his fingers. "Shall I talk with my leader about this?" Gryffin asked suddenly which they all turned to him curiously. "Why?" Ryoo asked. "She might know what to do with such information." The room went quiet for a solid few minutes. Glances were exchanged between person to person. Everyone seemed to be iffy on the matter until ryoo answered. "Yes, let her know. Come back to us with what information she gives. What ever she says could be useful to us." Gryffin nodded and stayed quiet through the rest of the counsel. We talked about other information we have gotten like the investigation at randal loopall kingdoms. "Theres not much going on in either kingdoms. But we will always do the double check until we've come to a conclusion. If it is not a tyrant then we will try our best to find this organization. Either way, we will try our best to find them." I don't feel confident when it came to the investigation, hearing this just doesn't sit well with me right now. I was sad to hear there were no leads other then just two men in the dungeon we are questioning. It upsets me that all we have are two men who are just very vague with the way they answer.
"I have a bad feeling we won't find much..." I say, sadly looking at ryoo who gives me a sympathetic look. I looked at gryffin who had no expression, but there was something behind his eye that said otherwise.
The conference ended and me, gryffin and ryoo are going through the castle talking about it while walking towards my office.
"Don't worry, we will find more information out when we get the chance. There's just so much going on right now." Ryoo sighed as we walked inside my office. "I'm sure there is so much going on right now, even through your mind." I say, sitting down in my chair and folding my hands together and resting my chin on top. "Investigation aside, are you ready for the empires election?" He asked with a smirk on his face. I nodded with a smile on my face, most definately yes I was. Though he selected me as a candidate, there might be better ones who have better views on what the empire needs right now. "Excited, worried, and nervous." I said my top three worst emotions about the election in a few months. "Well I'm sure you'll be prepared. Prepare your speeches, keep the study of the empire up and you'll be empress before you know it." He said with a grin on his face. "You two and your politics." Gryffin mumbled his dryest joke of the evening. "What are your beliefs gryffin?" Ryoo asked him which made gryffin stop to look at him then at me. "I don't fancy myself with politics." That was the same thing he had told me when we first met when we were in a carriage together. "Ah, i see..." ryoo awkwardly said and turned back to me. Gryffin sat on the couch and did his meditation practice.
"The election is the most important thing in your life right now. It's what your father would want." Ryoo smiled softly, trying his best to reassure my worries. "I promise I'll be the best candidate you've had." He chuckled and leaned back in the chair. Although it was easy to say, executing the task maybe difficult.
Let's see where this future takes me.
