(Y/n's pov)

"Focus..." I tightly closed my eyes and exhaled sharply with frusteration. I've been trying to actually meditate but it hasn't been going my way. I couldn't get to where I needed to be, the meditative state. "I can't do it jene." I tell her and she frowns. "Your being negative." She told me and i raised a brow. "I haven't been able to do it in days. I'm getting no where." Tyga hummed and stroked her chin. "Get some rest y/n. Maybe it is tiring you too much." Tyga suggested and we all left the meditation area. I went to my room and gryffin was already there waiting for me. Once he noticed my precense, he smiled sweetly. "Hello darling." He greeted and stood up from the chair he sat on. I smiled back at him and we both hugged each other. "Any progress?" He asked me and I shake my head sighing with disappointment. "Sadly no." I tell him and he hummed for a moment. "Maybe things are better, when one is alone." I looked at him and he looked down at me and smiled. "Get some rest sweetheart. You'll need it." He said, kissing my head before leaving. I take a long nap, waking up a few hours later with the sun down. I snuck out of bed and opened the door empty hallways. I shut the door quietly behind me and rushed to the meditation room and saw that no one was in there. I shut the door quietly and go over towards the pillows and looked up at the skylight. The stars shimmered down through the glass and the crescent moon was quite evident with it. I get on my knees on a pillow and put my hands on my thighs. I looked up at the skylight again and take a deep breath and close my eyes, trying my best to stay focused. Taking a deep breath and exhaling. I feel the weight of my body slowly being lifted. My heart was racing out of my chest, I keep taking deep breaths until it finally slowed down a bit to calm. I keep taking deep breaths and slowly, until my vision had gone completely black. The vision came. I saw a bright glowing orb, Trying to take shape of something. I focus well on it to make sure I never snapped out of it again. The orb floats higher and higher until it finally takes the form of an owl. It starts flying at full speeds and I chased it, running as fast as I can to keep up with it. The owl looked like just a blue outline of what the appearance of an owl would look like. It was almost like a ghost. A spirit? A spirit guide? It then started to circle on a certain spot and then ghosts of people started to form with blue outlining their bodies. It was a giant group. With swords, bows and arrows, and other weapons. They attacked each other, screaming in cries for their people. It disappeared and appeared me and gryffin, running through what seemed to be a castle and holding hands. Then, glass shattered. Looking up we see several endo coming in from a skylight. We saw jene fighting the demwar and hold them back from us. We saw Helga staring at us. It all disappeared and the owl sat on a perch and stared at me. It turned into an orb again and it shot itself in my chest and I woke up with a jolt, breathing heavily.
"What did you see?" I looked around and saw tyga, sitting in front of me.
"I saw the battle. The future of what's to come. But I never saw the end of it." I say worriedly and she put her hand on my shoulder. "The light only allows us to see what we need to see. Maybe the fate of our rebellion is unclear." I didn't like the thought of that. I really wanted to know if we were going to win. Though, it seems like that question won't be answered until we are in the battlefield. "I hope I figure it out soon." I say and stand up. Tyga stands with me and puts her hand on my shoulder. Though she doesn't have eyes and a blindfold over where they're supposed to be, somehow she can notice where I'm standing. "Let the future unfold. Don't push yourself. Now that you can and know how meditate, we can now progress to using more of your senses." Tyga stated and we both started to walk. "Get some rest for the night. We'll start in the morning. I'll notify jene of your progress." I nodded and watched tyga walk off into the dark hall.
The next morning was met with jene in her office talking about what had happened last night.
"So you saw the battle?" She asked me and I nodded. "Yes, but I never saw the end..." I tell her and she hummed as an stroked her chin for a moment. "That's not too odd." She tells me. "The light only shows your so much." She says and turns to tyga who nodded in agreement. "But now you can meditate, that's good. Now today we focus on using your senses in the heat of battle." We then go out to the training room and everyone in there either had went out to the court yard or stayed off to the side to watch.
Gryffin was in the room watching intently to make sure I didn't get hurt.
"Using your senses in the heat of battle is like using your survival instincts. With using the lights senses, you like it guide you. Where you need to swing and where you need to go." Jene explained and pulled out her tomahawks. They were both double axes with sharp edges that could cleanly cut paper. She twirled them both in her hands and tyga tosses double swords to me. Jene rushes me and tries to slice at my arm which she had been successful with a tiny cut, making me wince. "Too slow, you must trust your instinctive light senses." She told me, putting her tomahawks away and put up her fists. I put the swords away and she had pretended to hit me but I quickly blocked it with my forearm. She smirked and tried to hit me again and I blocked it once more and hit her cheek. She rubbed it in slight pain. "Continue to use your instincts." She tackled me to the ground and put her hands around my neck and began to choke me. I struggled to breath. I could hear people gasping in shock by how she was training me. I tried to think of ways to get out of this situation. I began to kick and thrash violently until I actually kicked her off of me and got on top of her and grabbed a dagger out of her pocket and aimed it to her throat and she smirked at me. "Great work." She complimented me and I got up and helped her. She chuckled when all of a sudden, she jumped up and kicked me on the face, causing me to stumble and stunned by the sudden impact in the face. She rushed me and I quickly dodged and grabbed a sword in which she grabbed her tomahawks and did a move where she spun on her heel, lowering down to my legs and tried to slice at them but I jumped and kicked one out of her right hand in which she quickly reacted by cartwheeling away from my attack, grabbing it as quick as she could. Our weapons clashed and screamed as they hit against each other. The sharp sounds of metal scraping against each other. She did alot of doding tactic where she flipped backwards, flipped side to side to attack me with both tomahawks. It caused me to struggle to keep up with her speed, she didn't seem to get tired easily.
But then suddenly, seeing my exhaustion, gryffin came in with a sword and attacked her. Shock written on her face and a smile on mine, she became over whelmed with the power we held together. Gryffin knocked one tomahawk from her hand and I kicked her other one out as well and both of us pushed her overwhelmed, she fell to the ground with shock. We both pointed our swords at her and she stared up at us. Silent. "Both of you. My office." She stated and got up, taking both her weapons and putting them back in her pouch holders. "Tyga!" She called and caused us all to follow. I was hoping she wasn't mad. Lord only knows what she was feeling right now. Me and gryffin tightly held each other's hands and looked at each other worriedly. "I'm sorry..I saw you needed help...I just felt like I had to." I smiled forgivingly and tightly held his hand. "Don't worry about it." I whispered and kissed his cheek without them seeing. We let go of each other's hands when we get there. She opens the door for us and tells us both to sit. She shuts the door gently behind us, whisper talking to tyga for a good while. They both turned to us and began. "We see that you both have some sort of special connection." Jene started and eyed gryffin for a moment. But didn't seem to have any hate for him at all in this moment.
"Which is why we want you both to train together. You both fighting in this war will be a strong dynamic to hurt and frighten the demwars." She stated and sat down in her chair, especially staring at gryffin. She sighed. "Gryffin, you are NOT a demwar. You are an endo who appears to wield the darkness." She said, causing shock in both of us for her sudden change in heart. "What made you change your mind?" He asked her and she shakes her head. "That does not matter. The point is we want both a light and darkness weilders to overwhelm the capitol so we CAN take it back." I agreed with the idea. "So we'll start to train together?" Gryffin asked just so that we were clear which they both, jene and tyga nodded. "Yes." Me and gryffin smiled at each other.
This was going to be interesting...
