ch. 6 returning to hogwarts

RONS POV

I wonder what y/n is thinking about right now. I say as I roll over to the other side of my bed. Not being able to see her these past few weeks has been killing me. I look at Harry who is sleeping on the couch in my room. I find the nearest parchment and quill. What do I say with this?

Dear y/n

Ron here, I know its late so if my letter woke you up im sorry. How have you been?

I give my letter to my owl and watch him fly out the window. I lay back down and stare at the ceiling.

Y/N'S POV

Im sitting on my bed just staring at the floor with tears pooling into my eyes when i hear the LOUDEST thud on my window. After restarting my heart I open it and a letter laid on my desk. The owl sat on my windowsill and waited. I open the letter and read.

Dear y/n

Ron here, I know its late so if my letter woke you up im sorry. How have you been?

After reading Ron's name i feel like abunch of weight was lifted off my shoulders. Was he thinking of me? I grab my parchment and quill and begin to write.

Dear Ron

Dont worry, i was awake. Truthfully things haven't been all that great. A whole lot of family drama went down with Draco and My father. My mother took Draco somewhere yesterday and hasnt come back yet. So just super worried is all. How have you been?

I hand Rons owl my letter and it flies out the window.

A few minutes later Ron's owl returns

Dear y/n

I'm really sorry to hear that y/n.
please if you feel like your unsafe just send me a letter. i swear on everything ill come and get you.

I felt a wave of comfort come over me as i read that. I've only been friends with Ron for two months but it feels like its been forever.

-Timeskip to being back at hogwarts-

You sit yourself on the edge of your bed after setting yourself up. You missed Ron over the break. You start to play with the bracelet he had given you for Christmas. not You head on down to the great hall for lunch and see Ron and his friends. Hermione turns to look at you and gives you a sweet smile.
