ch 3. Harry's outburst

Its a few days later. The second night you and Ron met, you guys actually managed to work. The third night had lots of chatter, and the fourth night was a mixture of talking, blushing, and working.

You wake up and direct your attention to Ron's jacket that still lays on your bed.

i cant forget to bring that tonight.

You put on your normal school uniform and decided to curl your hair since you woke up early. Probably wasnt the best idea since everyone knows the Malfoys have always worn their hair straight.

Exiting the common room and earning a few negative glares Draco runs behind you.

"Whats with the hair? You know we have to wear our hair straight. Dad's gonna flip." He says.

You stop. "And how is dad gonna find out about my curled hair?"

"Ill have to tell him." Your brother says prominently.

Your tired of always having to argue with Draco about him reporting everything you do to you pull your brother into an empty classroom.

Ron who is walking in the halls with Hermione and Harry notices you pull your brother and tells his friends "Ill catch up with you two in a minute."

"Just dont be late." Harry replies. Ron stands close enough to the classroom to hear your conversation with Draco.

"Draco, get your head out of your bum and think about what your doing to me. Telling on me for every little thing i do? and for what? A few extra brownie points with Dad? I dont get it!"
A single tear starts to fall. Your voice starts to shake.
"Has it ever occured to you that i have my own life? I dont do these things to tarnish the family name. I do these things like curl my hair.. because it makes me feel pretty. Go ahead and tell dad, i dont care... it hasnt stopped me before and it definitely won't stop me now."
Your practically bawling at this point.

Draco feels bad, and you know he does. But hes so brainwashed that he replies with "Quit crying, and im sorry, but i have to tell dad." He walks out quickly avoiding any more conversation.

Your emotions are so strong right now you just plop onto the floor and start crying.

Ron hears you start to sob and he has no clue what to do, he knows how bad he wants to come and comfort you, but how is he supposed to just walk in and hug you? Won't you be suspicious of the random hug? Did he just hear you cry to your brother? Ron felt like that would embarass you. So he left it alone.

RONS POV

I can hear y/n crying. i really shouldnt of listened. i feel like ive invaded so much of her privacy. i want to just run in and hug her so bad. i wonder how nicely she would smell or how soft she would be. Wait, do i like her? surely not. ive known her for what 4 days? sure ive snuck plenty of looks at her for the past year yes, but do i like her? I heard her get up so i quickly start walking towards class.

You seat yourself in the back of class trying to avoid contact with anyone, mainly Draco.. and Ron, you didnt want Ron to see you with puffy eyes.

But sure enough Ron enters the room and does a quick scan to find you. His gaze met yours and you could see him frown. Hes pretending as if he didnt know that you cried and yelled at your brother earlier that day, and that he just sees your puffy eyes.
