ch. 10 Fifteen

You run out of the astronomy tower and sit on a bench in the hallway. You hear your brothers footsteps running towards you and sitting down next to you.

"Are you happy? You won Draco. You win. You get to secretly be with Hermione and I can't be with anyone!!" You didnt mean to tell Draco you knew about him and Hermione.

Draco sees Ron at the end of the hall and motions for him to wait. (Your crying so you see none of this ;)

Draco starts "y/n. Im not gonna ask how you know about Hermione, but i want to let you know. I hate this, every bit of it, I dont like reporting you to Dad, but Pansy watches me like a hawk and if she sees that i dont report something you do, we both get punished."

"So your just doing it to save yourself trouble? You selfish jerk!" You hit his chest.
"How do you feel when your with Hermione? Do you get butterflies in your stomach Draco?"

"Well, yeah.... I really like Hermione."

"And you would do anything for her?"

Draco nods in response.

"Thats how i feel about Ron. I would do anything for him, to hold his hand in public, to hug him without getting scolded. That feeling you get.... the butterflies, thats what i feel when im with Ron, when he smiles at me, when he hugs me, when he touches my shoulder... My heart does an entire backflip."

You look up at Draco.

"I'm falling in love with Ron and theres nothing i can do about it!!"

Draco pulls you into a hug after hearing your words about falling in love, he knows how strong of a feeling love is.

"please dont tell dad." you cry.

"I wont, im done telling dad everything, i never want to speak to him again. I cant promise you that you'll be safe if your with Ron publicly." He glances at Ron still standing at the end of the hall.
"But i know he wont let anything happen to you... and i wont either."

You hug your brother tighter.

"Im going back to the common room, but i think you should stay here minute." Draco says as he walks away.

You sit and try to dry your eyes.

This is pointless. I've already told Ron that i couldn't do this, then that i could, and again that i couldn't. i dont want to confuse him anymore.

You hear footsteps running towards you. You turn your head to see Ron running your way. Before you know it Ron is grabbing your face and pressing his lips against yours, this moment feels like a movie. He stays there for a few more seconds before breaking away and saying 7 sweet words.

"Im falling in love with you too."

Before you can say anything he runs off back to his common room.

You smile at the fact that hes running away like a fool. Did that really just happen? Ron Weasley just confessed that he basically loves you back.
