ch. 7 i almost do

You lay awake in your bed thinking about Ron. You weren't allowed to send him any letters after one night your father saw his owl and told you that if you send another letter he would kill the owl. So you've been laying awake just thinking about how great its gonna be to see him.

-timeskip-

Your at platform 9¾ waiting for Draco to run through. You see a group of wizards with fiery red hair and immediately panic. Are you ready to see Ron yet? You run straight through the wall and follow Draco into the train, sitting in the back like always. You see Ron get on through the window on the door. Its killing you, fighting the urge to run up to him and hug him, you missed Ron so much.

RONS POV

I step onto the train and i can see y/n looking at me through the window of the door, godrick if i could run up to her I would. I missed her like crazy. We all eventually arrive at the school and we all go to the great hall like always, all the first years have been sorted. I walk out into the hall and i see y/n walking with Draco. I cant help it, i run up to her, she hears my footsteps from behind her and turns around, we pull eachother into a tight hug without giving a single fword ;) about whos watching. She smells like vanilla, the sweetest smell ever.

Draco pulls her out of my grasp. "Are you insane? Come with me right now." And just like that y/n was gone. Being pulled away by Draco.

She turns around and mouths a quick 'sorry' And i nod my head to let her know its okay.

Y/N'S POV

After being rudely pulled away from the best hug ive ever had im scolded by Draco in the common room.

"What was that all about? Are you mad? Thats a weasley your loving on!! Malfoys and Weasleys DONT MIX. Dads gonna have your head!!" Draco yelled. I see Pansy sitting in the corner.

"Dray do we have to do this infront of Panties?" I ask him trying not to laugh at the nickname ive come up with.

Draco sighs before turning to Pansy. "Pant- Pansy, leave."

She gets up and leaves the room and i begin.
"AGAIN DRACO.. WHY WOULD DAD HAVE TO KNOW? THIS IS MY LIFE!! IF I WANT TO HUG MY FRIEND I WILL." I storm out of the room before my idiot brother can say anything else.

I run down to the lake and sit on the rock Ron and I sat on together. I can't believe this.. ive known Ron for close to a year, i know what i want out of this... I think I might be falling in love with him... all of the looks we steal when we see eachother, meeting in secret to 'study' when really all we do is talk, joke, laugh, and steal more looks, hugging him infront of everyone today made me feel like ive ripped off a small bandaid- a small band-aid that was just holding down a even bigger one.

I can see the red head boy walking down to the lake and I dry my eyes.

"Oh Godrick y/n im so sorry." He pulls me into another hug. "I cant believe i did that infront of everyone, im so so so sorry about the argument or lecture you probably had with Draco."

I dont say anything, i just stand there in Ron's arms.

An owl flies down onto the rock with a letter. Ron and I sit onto the rock to read the letter thats adressed to me. I read aloud.

Dear y/n

You must be an absoloute git, hugging a Weasley, a member of the biggest blood traitor family there is. Your actions will not be tolerated. I have asked Crabbe and Goyle to watch your every move, if I hear from them that you are spending any more time with that Weasley boy, I will pull you out of Hogwarts. Do not disobey me.

I turn to Ron after reading my letter aloud, it hurts so bad to look into his eyes, he looks so hurt. He pulls me into one last comforting hug and we just sob in eachothers grasps.

"Ron I'm so sorry, ive really enjoyed the past year with you but it's clear what has been going on is not going to be tolerated. Im so sorry I need to go." I say to him with a sob.

"I understand, but y/n... this isint the end of us, your my friend.. i still need you, please if you can, tomorrow at nightfall meet me at the astronomy tower, after stupid crabbe and goyle fall asleep. Could you do that for me?" He asks me while he's wiping his tears off his cheek.

I nod and place my hand on his cheek before i stand up and run back into the school.

I slowly just walk back to the common room when Pansy approaches me. "Hi y/n... guess what? I get to watch you and make sure you fall asleep in your bed by curfew tonight!!"

I roll my eyes and speed up my pace. I run through the common room so nobody would see the tears that are still flowing down my face, I head straight for the girls dorm and plop down face first onto my bed, I dont care that it was only 7:45pm... i was going to sleep.
