Annabelle's pov:
When I wake up from my nap again, I still am curled up on Raphael's chest.
„Good morning Princess. Are you feeling better after your mini nap?" Raphael asks me. His strong chest vibrating with each word he says which makes me feel all safe.
„Mhm." I mumble in return and softly rub my eyes to wake myself up some more. When my mind finally catches up with me again I look around the room pretty frantic.
„Where is dad?" I ask feeling my panic start to return full force yet again.
„Shh! He had to go to work. No need to get yourself so worked up." Jace soothingly tells me. Surprised to see him sitting next to Raphael on the window seat. What is he still doing here? I thought everyone left already?!
„Izzy got a call from her mum. Since I wanted to know if you were feeling better as you wake up, I stayed. Alec and Magnus went to do their stuff. However only after we promised them to call you the moment you wake up." jace explains my unasked question. Nodding my head a little, that kind of makes sense I guess.
„Can I call dad?" I ask a bit timidly. Their smiling faces make me relax again.
„Here is your phone princess. I am sure your dad is waiting for your call anyway." Raphael says and tsps my nose with one of his fingers. Of course that makes me giggle and in return makes them smile at me lovingly. Ignoring their stares I instead grab the still offered phone and type in the number i know by heart since pretty much all my life.
„Darling! How are you feeling? Is Raphael still with you?" dad voice comes through the phone after the first ring. A sigh of relief escapes my lips at hearing my dads voice.
„Dad! I am really happy to hear your voice!! Was really worried when I woke up and couldn't see you." I answer him slightly sad that he isn't by my side right now. Always felt the safest with him around me. And now so shortly after fearing for his life, it feels not good to be away from him.
„I know darling. If i hadn't had to leave for work than I would still be by your side. You know i would of preferred that! But till I am able to leave work, I want you to stay with Raphael. He will look out for you Anni!" dad soothingly explains while Raphael keeps on caressing my back in assurance.
„Ok. Stay safe dad." I say sad that there is no way for him to come right away, but I understand. Work is important. And he knows that I am in good hands, with that thought in mind, I decided to be a big girl and agree to do as I got told. It surely is going to be fun anyway. Raphael is my best friend after all, so it could be way worse.
„That's my girl! I need to go now, but I promise the moment I can go I will come running to you! Love you Anni!" dad reply's and I can hear his smile through the phone.
„Bye." I whisper seconds before the line went dead again.
„What would you like to do now Anni?" Raphael asks with a bright smile. Giggling slightly at his excitement. He always was this cheeky boy that would do pretty much everything to get you smiling and happy at all times.
„Don't know. Thought Izzy and I were going to train today." I say with a small shrug. Both boys only chuckle at me and I can feel the blush already growing on my cheeks. Finding both their chuckles really lovely and they even make my belly feel all funny. Strange, I never had that feeling ever before!
„Do you like to train? If so I would gladly train with you?" Jace says with open interest. Thinking about his offer, I decide that it is a good idea. It would definitely get my mind on something else, which would be really great! I after all can only think about the danger my dad has been and still is.
„Really? I mean, isn't it too much to ask of you?" I question not sure if he really means it or just tried to calm me down a bit more.
„Course I mean it Anna!" he tells me honest. So with a bright smile on my face I hug myself right into him. Not even thinking about it, which is so not me in the slightest. Raphael's shocked face also tells me so much. But instead of getting mad, he simply smiles proudly at me. Jace on the other hand simply smiles as if I just  granted him his biggest wish!
„Hello everybody!" Magnus says as he enters the room with a smiling alec in tow. Both of them look at me slightly confused but they quickly recover and instead smile now as well.
„Jace offered to train me since Izzy had to leave!" I excitedly tell them. Trying hard to not get too hyped up, but let's be honest that's something I can't do.
„That's really nice of Jace indeed." Alec says with a certain glint in his eyes, but I can't really get the meaning of that glint. I am sure I have already seen that glint, but I don't seem to think of what it means. With a small wave Magnus opens a portal to i am guessing the old warehouse we have been training since now.
„Let's head out than!" he says and grabs Alec's hand who blushes slightly at the open show of affection it seems. Raphael simply picks me up from a now glaring Jace and stands me in front of himself, with a wink he takes my hand in his and walks side to side with me through the portal. Like I have thought we are now back at the warehouse they have been training me ever since I found out about the shadow world.
„So, what would you like to train?" jace asks me with a glare towards Raphael before smiling at me lovingly. Simply shrugging my shoulders at that question. Not really knowing how to answer that. Till now they mostly trained me by telling me to let my body take over since it looks like that it already knows exactly what it's meant to do. Even all those magic things Magnus showed me came pretty natural to me. Like I have once learned all of that already.
„Why don't you try to attack her. I am sure she can defeat you without any trouble." Magnus states. He already has taken a seat on the comfy couch to watch the whole training with tea and biscuits.
„Be careful princess! And show him what you got!" Raphael says with a wink and a kiss on my forehead.
