Forbidden Love

Chapter 1- Breakfast

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Ugh," I say as I look over at the time, "7:30? Why does it have to be so early?" I look around at my king-sized bed and smile. Kameron's sweatshirt was by the foot of my bed. Kameron is my best friend and he lives with me in my huge mansion that I never like to be alone in I hate being alone somewhere huge. I only have this mansion because my parents loves visiting and they always bring the whole family with them. My old place never had enough place to hold all of them so somehow they persuaded me to buy this place.

I slowly got out of bed and slipped on my fuzzy slippers that Alex gave me last Christmas. As I walked over to my full body mirror, I grabbed the remote to my speakers and put on The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy. I usually listen to the older music more than the music these days. Since my music was blasting I failed to hear the knock on my door and it opening so when I turned around while dancing I got the shock of a lifetime. Kameron standing beside my bed trying not to laugh.

"Go ahead. Laugh it up," I say as I walk over my bathroom to get my robe. I didn't hear him start laughing until I was inside and putting on my robe. "Whatcha need cause I know you didn't come in here to laugh at my awesome dancing," I said as I struck a pose which only made him laugh even more.

"Breakfast is ready and you're taking forever," he said as he walked out my door with his sweatshirt. I followed him to the dinning room where breakfast was all setup. I didn't have people working for me in my house because I can take care of myself and so can everyone who lives with me.

Kam sat beside Alex at the table. Alex is Kameron's boyfriend and they have been together for so long. I swear they attached at the hip because they never leave eachother's side. That's why is always so hard to spend some time with my best friend. Just us like it used to be before he met, and started dating, Alex.

I sat in my chair at the head of the table. I took me a while to get used to sitting there becaue, honestly, all my life I was never allowed to sit there. It was my Papi's spot. I looked around at the all the people at the table and noticed some one was missing.

"Where's Landry? He's usually here by now," I asked. Landry is another one of my friends that lives with me but he lives here with his girlfriend. Her name is Emily and we don't get along very well. I it weren't for Landry, she would be out on the street and out of my hair.

"He left earlier this morning with Emily to go to a job interview," Alex said before taking a bite.

"And he took Emily with him? Well good because we all know what happens when she's here without him"

We ate our breakfast in silence. Kameron got up first saying something about getting dressed then it was Alex for the same reason. After a few moments, I went back to my room and plopped onto my bed. My speakers blasted The Good Life by Three Days Grace.

I got back up and got dressed in a black We Came As Romans tee shirt and a pair of skinny jeans, brushed my dark brown hair and put in it in a ponytail. After going into the bathroom to out on a little make-up, I slipped on some socks and my black Converse and looked at myself in the mirror.

I threw on my white jacket and headed out of my bedroom to the front door. I grabbed the keys to my convertible and headed out. I had to meet my number one friend that I've had since we were 11. Elyse was waiting at the Evermore Cafe on Chappy street to hear some details about Kam and how I felt. She is the only one I trust enough to tell that to.
